A diva and stipulation fighter. **** is that? Lol. ****en epic lmao. It's personal to you because you're really talking to Floyd's fans and not boxing fans. The Lopez and Marciano statement is classic because you're not the first or last to use the "0" against him lmao.

Yeah "lmao" I'm laughing so hard. Anyways, I'm done here. You go on thinking he's TBE, I'll go on thinking of him as a diva and stipulation fighter (surprised we never saw "Someone's "0" has got to go" on a poll match with all his demands a fighter has to meet to fight him) "lmao" still laughing so hard while typing this post.

The name of the thread is literally called "Why do you believe Floyd Mayweather is tbe?" I was conversing with someone else why I don't think he is, then your moronic ****ing ass butts into the conversation and makes a smartass post out of context. Then make another arguing with me, if you don't think he's tbe either then why the **** are you arguing with me you stupid mother****er. Pacquiao's resume is better than Floyd's, I have Pacquiao rated higher despite Floyd waiting until Manny faded enough to where he wasn't scared to fight him anymore then beat him. Similar to how most people have Duran above Leonard, Hagler & Hearns despite Duran only having 1 win between the 3. You just keep on laughing your ass off though, it makes you look cool.

Like Blade said to Deacon Frost,"You're just another dead Pac fan to me"!

    Mayweather DKSAB, period:
“When we talk about these champions, legendary fighters, we talk about how they have 100 and something fights, 100 and something victories - but when you look at the history books I still beat more world champions than any fighter in history. I respect these fighters because these fighters are the fighters that paved the way for me to be where I’m at, but there’s no fighter in boxing that accomplished what I accomplished at all. You can go back as far as you want to go back," Mayweather said.

“If we go back and look at Marciano’s record, he fought a bunch of ducks. Ali, he never beat Ken Norton..... this is the truth. There’s nothing cool about laying on the ropes, taking punishment - and being glorified for that [when discussing Ali's 'rope a dope' tactics]. If another fighter is known as the greatest fighter, they say, ‘oh he’s the greatest.’ Well, then I’m greater in other places. I’m the greatest business man." "I’m going to always love Muhammad Ali, always love Sugar Ray Robinson, always love Sugar Ray Leonard, always love every legendary champion... Joe Louis and the list goes on and on - but one thing I’m not going to say is that they are better than me [because] that’s not true.” - scene it.

What a complete idiot. 24 'world champions', mostly cereal box holders in an awful era + No at-or-near prime TBE, ATG, Higher tier, mid tier HOF on his resume in 19 years!

One of the most idiotic things i ve heard him say. And hes said many idiotic things over the years. For one their giving titles away nowadays. For 2. Thomas hearns would have battered him as well as many more. Go back and watch hearns v duran. That alone should be enough to come to your own conclusions. Hearns was slightly higher weight at that point but he did fight around the same weight beforehand.

Mayweather was a great fighter granted he was skilled. But he was more tricky than great. Was negative much the same hopkins became. You cant fight that way then say you we,re the best ever. He won through nullifying his opponents. Its never going to be greatness. I still think a young pacman would have beat him. Going up the weights suited mayweather more. Because he was more of a boxer. Always easier for the boxer. But when manny was prime before going up the weights he was relentless. Wouldnt stop punching. Stamina and determination were unbeilevable. Would have caused mayweather big problems.

I don't think he's the greatest but I think he's at the very least in the top 20.

When you are thinking the TBE or even just evaluating a fighter of how good they are you should look at some criteria to see just how likely they are to win and how invincible they are etc. Kind of a generic list admittedly, it can be broken down in subcategories, some are products or combinations of other etc, sorry if some are left out but you probably get the idea. Some boxers may have such an extreme score in one area that can make other criteria less relevant. Here are some:

    1. Defense - ability to avoid getting hit
    2. Ring Generalship/Intelligence - Controlling the action, pace, cutting of the ring, distance, strategizing etc
    4. Accuracy/timing of punches
    5. Speed - fast hands and feet to hit and not be hit.
    6. Chin - even if hit, the lack of being stunned, dropped.
6a. Toughness - even if dropped stunned, still going to continue
    7. Offense - Ability to hit
    8. Power - How hard of a punch does a punch pack

Feel free to add others. Comment on Floyd or your fighter you like/dislike. Floyd's strengths are higher in the top section then the bottom. Hopefully this makes this post more of measuring comparison tool between fighters

you're giving yourself a pass for discussing age simply because you are backing pacman.
you said Floyd waited for manny to get old before fighting him. I agree that age favours Floyd due to his style of fighting though.
felix Trinidad wasn't done at 28.
he always struggled against technical fighters and MW clearly wasn't his best division.

as for your final sentence, again, I was replying to your statement that said "Floyd waited for manny to get old" - if you had elaborated (like you have here) then I would have understood your position better

you criticize me for comparing their ages, but the post I was replying too was where you said Floyd "waited for manny to get old" - can't have it both ways
felix Trinidad wasn't done by 28. he performed poorly against strong technical fighters and perhaps MW was a bridge too far for him
