Why do you dislike Mayweather?

I have nothing against him.

 

What I dislike is the fact that everything seems to be motivated by money.

He has kids, there are other kids in his wider family. Of course he may be 'puttting on a show'' for the media, but I feel sorry for the kids when he is seen throwing money around, when so many people (and as mentioned on here before - ex-boxers) have very little. This is sending out the wrong message to his surely.

Nothing wrong with being successful and promoting success but to do it in such a crass way, makes me dislike him.

I think the intimate moments shown in 24/7 have perhaps shown his truer character, the sections with the kids, the bit in the medical centre when his back was padded up, whizzing round on the two wheeled thing.

It's like a Dr Jeckl and Mr Hyde thing.

 

I could care less what floyd does outside the ring as long as he is no murderer or ******. The guy is a masterful boxer. He is supremely confident and does not hold his tongue - its part of what makes him himself.

 

It is very funny how some people down his character and say he has no class,but it indeed is a lack of class and character judgement when people make pitiful statements stating that you do not like a individual because he "throws money at the camera" or because he is confident in himself and is outspoken about it infront of the camera. I understand that maybe his outspokeness can be loud at times, but that is not a reason to call him a "*******" or any other name. :-(

I like him, but i don't like that his fans overrate him so much.

 

I dont mind his character its a show business the more you sell the more you make. He is very gifted and smart. However he hasnt taken on the best challenges out there for him. I think he has hand picked his opponents to suit him best. He doesnt pick bums but he picks high reward medium risk guys. Once he fights Cotto, PW or Mosley i will give him props but since moving up he has lost my respect.

or do you watch the fights cause i like the quality of his boxing against top level guys??

for me, i dont give a **** if the fighter is a dumbass, ******, murderer whatever.........as long as he does his job!!!

i have enough friends, i dont need to dream about having a beer with a fighter.
but alot of "boxingfans" obviously use this as a mesuring stick when it comes to liking a fighter...or not. and that is just gay/******ed/dumbassed etc.

WT HECK are you talking about. Everybody rates him p4p the best right now. Sports analyst, other proffesional boxers, its not a lie. They are not saying it for NO APPARANT REASON. The man is the best right now.
