Hurt or not by that lucky haymaker(it was a prayer of a punch, he put his head down like a little ***** and winged it and got lucky) Wlad came right back and layed it on Haye with a series of punches that had Haye right back on his bicycle. IMO he did stun Wlad but he took it extremely well, i don't think Haye knew it did some damage but most importantly i liked the way Wlad responded by coming after Haye.

Wlad was a little buzzed but far from going down I feel. He just followed his training to immediately neutralize his opponent when land a decent shot. Cant fault him for that.

Now if Haye would have actually grew a pair of balls and actually made an effort during the fight I really do believe he had the tools to really get Wlad out of his comfort zone. Haye had the physical tools and the talent, but the dude showcased a glass heart for the entirety of the fight.

Haye threw a wild punch, got lucky, (the only time in the entire fight) and sure Wlad was rocked. - but he recovered quickly, so big deal.

The real story is that Haye was not able to throw a single follow-up punch. Why? because he had no plan to actually fight: Just hang back, throw wild, & hope to get lucky. The fact that this "Strategy" allowed him to land one decent punch in 12 rounds is meaningless.
    ------------

Here's some perspective: Ali - Frazier 1. Each man landed better shots than Haye's, at least 20 times per round. Both fighters took it & kept going. THAT was a fight.

He was stunned so hard that he came back to have Haye running and still won the 12th.

Of course Wlad was hurt. Proven by Wlad beating the pulp out of Haye for the rest of the 12th!

Also, Wlad followed up that shot with a nasty combo of his own, almost right away.

    He was clearly not hurt.

    Because they are butt hurt.
