why do you guys keep saying pac will stop clottey?

I agree , I think this goes 12 .. PAC still wins, but both guys will be banged up afterwards

 

He obviously has more power than Cotto, and Cotto had Clottey rattled badly.

I don't think anyone expects him to run him over in a round; it'll be a protracted accumulation.

 

I also agree but my wildcard has Clottey rocking him hard about R6, although he won't be able to finish him. Pac wins 7 or 8 rounds.

 

His power speaks for itself IMO... Now whether or not Clottey will get caught like Cotto or Hatton did is anyone's guess but he defintely has the power to hurt just about anyone in there...

 

Yeah, I think he's thinking when Josh's leg seemed to immobilize him a bit and he went into his shell on the ropes, maybe. Not hurt though from a punch at any point that I could see.

Manny pacquaio is a one in a generation fighter, how many boxers get quicker, stronger and better with age?

Pacquaio has enormous power for his size and its full fury has yet to be seen, he throws quick punches but against clottey he will throw more powerful hits thus them being slower

pacquaio is like superman you can say

nobody can beat him anymore, he has become an extraordinary boxer in the last 2 years

there is a reason fighters like williams and mayweather are afraid of him

they call clottey a rock, pacquaio will break this rock and then he will kill mayweather

you will respect pacquaio

 

pac is not a super explosive puncher at ww and clottey has never been koed but clottey bad habit of not letting his hands go at certain times during fights, might get allow pac to get off enough punches to get a tko stoppage. clottey more then likely goes the distance but a tko from a barrgae of punches is a possiblity.

I don't think it's impossible. I mean, I def dont see Pac hurting Clottey to the head, but I can see him frustrating and out working him all night. A TKO is not outside the realm of possability given Clottey's uncanny ability to lose a fight he has all the tools to win. And as we all know, he does have Juda-ish ring ADD.

 

ok but clottey is a tough. but his problem is he dosent throw enough punches. he might be able to take pac's power but if he doesnt offer any resistance, it will only be a matter of time, especially considering pac's incredible stamina. he going to have to rock pac, more then once.

Clottey does not have the correct trainer, he has fantastic ability but like you said he does not throw enough punches. IMO he threw away the cotto fight against the judges. What people did not realise is he landed around 50 more punches in the fight than Cotto.

If Clottey comes to fight Pac will knock him out early

If he comes in a shell then a late TKO
