Since my interest in boxing is entirely orientated around watching the superiority of Aryans (especially Aryan AND white boxers) Kessler is of extreme interest ot me. In fact, I struggle to understand people whose interest in boxing is not race-orientated. What else is there to enjoy?
Did anyone notice that Kessler sort of looks like Ivan Draggo when he's inbetween rounds just sitting and listening to his corner?
You've got to be talking BS, or are you really that narrow minded? Race should never play a part in sport. Anyway, they all bleed the same.
sorry though my good buddy Decebal, I'm not yet sold on Kessler. Bomb away on me all you want, but I'm simply being honest. I had gained much interest in him hearing about this GREAT fighter from Denmark trashing all in his path with Thunderous God Like power etc.. Then I got to see him tee off on Andrade for 12 rounds straight, just bombs away. It has been universally agreed that Andrade has one of the best chins in boxing, but Mack did drop him early. People's excuse for that was Mack landed "picture perfect" punch. Now out of the 12 rounds Kessler bombed away, and considering how much i read about Kessler's top shelf technique and schooling, would it not be reasonable to think that any of those punches were "picture perferct", atleast enough to leave a red mark on Andrade's face, much less some swelling or a bruise?? A cut maybe?? Then I saw him get Owned by Calzaghe, in a fight I did not make a pick or have a side to root for, only wanted to enjoy the fight. But I saw Kessler appear to be somewhat slow, robotic, lacking of a plan B, and most frustrating of all: loss of will to throw his most effective punch from early in the fight, his uppercut. Why in the hell did he stop throwing it, where was plan B from a fighter that is one of only a couple A grade fighters in the sport, and why wait til round 12 to try to do something about the fact he was losing big time? I can still be sold on Kessler, just being honest that from what I've seen, not yet.
There were times in the fight with Calzaghe that Kessler seemed to be afraid to punch. It was in the later rounds after JC made the fight his.
Hmmm...Andrade does have a better than very good chin...I'm happy with it being called iron. Reason he was floored was because he didn't see it coming - makes all the difference. He didn't have any problems getting up and carrying on, though. Anyone can be floored by a flush on the chin they haven't seen - doesn't make your chin not solid. The proof that his chin is solid is that he can take repeated flush hard shots that he sees coming (e.g. from Kessler, or anyone else, including Mack), and isn't affected...THIS is the proof of the pudding - accumulation bombs have no effect on him... Kessler...well, he doesn't have massive power...others have more e.g. Berrio, Froch...but he does have power AND timing - so he is effective. Against Calzaghe, he was outclassed and intimidated to a certain extent - the task was too big. People say: "why didn't he swing for it? Why didn't assert himself more?" Well, because Calzaghe took that wind from under his wings...that's why...; yeah, he could have done some things differently, but in the end, it wouldn't have made that much difference. Doesn't make him anything less than a B++/A- fighter though...just ask Calzaghe!
