well it could be argued that he wasn't to keen on facing Green in a WBC eliminator prior to Kessler getting the fight with Siaca... But other than that he has been fighting the best where they want to fight - hopefully he'll stay in the US for now fighting the big names (and winning of course)
Mikkel Kessler is mighty impressive, it looks to me. Only worry I've got is his will to lay it on the line, when his back's against the wall. Still, I figure that since Anthony Mundine and Lucian Bute don't seem to have the drive, authority and resilience when backed up, Mikkel Kesler should do just fine if he lets himself loose on them. Calzaghe intimidated him alright, but the others won't. They're just not good enough, even if they had that fire going.
I think the next 2 years will show us what Kessler is made of. There should be some good fights out there for him in the near future. Personally I look forward to him fighting Pavlik and Taylor. I just hope he gets credit, stateside, if/when he beats them both. I somehow doubt it tho'.
