Why do you love boxing?

I love boxing because I love seeing the best fight the best in super fights i love the atmosphere of a live crowd especially when its mexico vs puerto rico and i live for the shocking momments ie chavez vs taylor and its the greatest test of hart and skill a man can ever face

The build up and just watching fighters start from bein youngsters to the very end of their careers is exciting..!! Cant hide in this sport either...the truth finds u in the ring!

 

I may be wrong but most of the answer give the impression that you also love MMA. Many sound as if they love MMA more.

Boxing needs to eliminate all the ducking of opponents. Set up bigger fights and it will hold it's own against mma.

I still have a feeling that MMA will run its course and drop off in viewership. It really is a sport of either laying on one another, or horrible boxing. It will also eventually run into the issue of glove sizes.

I also want to know why the ring in the UFC 100 was covered in blood and they didn't show the fight that caused all the blood. Why wouldn't they show what had to be a really bloody fight? Isn't that what their target audience wants to see? I think it was fear. They can't have to many bloodfests. It will cause politicians to take a long hard look at the sport. Which is never a good thing.
