What is your Reason you Love Boxing. My reason for Loving Boxing I love the glamor and pageantry of the sport. I love the personalities of Boxing some guys talk all day some dont. I love the build up to fights. I love the History of the sport I remember Being a kid around 3 or 4 and My mom ordering a Tyson fight because she liked Boxing it was Tyson fight I forget who he fought I remember he won by ko. I remember Thinking what is this As they showed the Promo and the the fighters came to ring people were cheering and yelling. I was like man this is cool this is big stuff. I have Loved in it ever since Those are the reasons I want to be the undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world. Why do you love Boxing?
Very nice thread! I love the fighters that work their whole lives to have an average record and fight their ass off. I love brawlers that have no athletic ability but try to seek and destroy! I love the long build-ups to a big fight. I love all the different personalities and characters in boxing. I love local fights, the fighters that never make it big. I love to see Hype Jobs get exposed and become humble! I love boxers that take on anyone, anytime, anywhere! I love fine ass ring card girls.. I love getting together with friends and family to watch a big event! I love shows like 24/7, ring life, Fight camp 360..etc I love to spar, do bag work, speed bag, double end bag etc.. I love wars
Pride is at stake you're betting it putting it on the line. Mano o Mano! The epic legendary WARS with formidable rivals!! Discovering greats before our own eyes and disproving the non believers!
i like when boxers become artist and paint a work of art in their own style. so many dimensions. not only a physical sport but extremely mental. The contrast of the brutal side and the beautiful side. Two fighters, so much put into the venue, the ring itself, making sure weights and everything are perfect and balanced. What I don't like is seeing fat gary Shaws belly hang out of his shirt in an abondened dressing room watching a fight on tv.
Because my Dad's a fan. I'm more of an MMA guy, but I like watchinjg old fights with guys like Tyson, Ali, Frazier. I'll watch any combat sport.
I love teaching people something about the sport they didn't know before or successfully pursuading them to pursue it on any any level. On the flip side, I enjoy it when I personally learn some subtle technical nuance from somepne who knows more than I do. There's also a deep sense of accomplishment when I'm able to successfully stick to my training/nutrition schedule and see the benefits in the ring.
I am beginning to sour on boxing because of all the bad decisions and referees in the sport, that crap has to change.............
The strategy and guts it takes to do it, the dedication and hours of training to prepare for it or live it, and mostly epic moments and epic tales.
