I like both fighters but there are always seems to be a demand for Floyd to fight this guy or that guy...after he beats them he is discredited... I like competitive fights but I give credit where it is due...e.g. when Hopkins fought Pascal I wanted Pascal to win....but I felt Hopkins got robbed. They wanted Floyd to fight Corrales...he did. They wanted Floyd to fight Hatton...he did. They wanted Floyd to fight Mosley...he did. They wanted Floyd to fight Cotto...he is... I want him to face Pacquiao...IMO he will...but whatever the outcome I will give the winner his respect. I know people say they watch some fighters just to see them lose but...wow I hope the Martinez fight happens. Dipset4Ever
I want floyd to fight martinez cause martinez is the only other cat that will pose a threat and give pbf a good challenge.PBF ****s up serg then there will be no denying that hes the pfp#1 maybe the best the sport has ever had. With that said im in the minority that gives sergio a chance.I think he will give pbf alot of trouble as sergio seems to have decent handspeed.
Your not making a great case for Mayweather. He waited in Mosely to decline He fought a declined war torn Gatti. He waited on Cotto to decline. ( that's all you keep hearing from May camp is that Cotto is on the downside and they're all giddy over it) Floyd didn't do squat as a welterweight!
Boxing fans want to see floyd in a fight where he has NOT positioned himself to win before signing the contract. Thats my story and Im sticking with it.
Nice pack of lies you just told. Mosley ducked Floyd and wanted nothing to do with him until Floyd started making 40 million payday. He is documented on video ducking Floyd because of a "tootache" Gatti was coming off a string of wins, and it was a popular fight that was set up by his opponent. Floyd tried to fight Cotto at 140 and was told Cotto was too green. Cotto never pushed or aksed for a fight with Floyd because he knew he wasn't ready.
At the end of the day, saying a fighter ducked another fighter who fights at 2 divisions above or below is the dumbest thing to have ever been argued in boxing. I don't care who the fighters are.
