Hopkin's trash talk is more to get in your head.

Floyd's is to get in your head some, but to also gain an audience

undefeated record, hype. If Floyds 0 is gone it would be like the titantic sinking. Nobody would have a reason to buy his fights anymore.

Honestly Mayweather has far more crowd pleasing style. His speed/athleticism/KO rate/ power relative to his weight class/ fluidity are all far more advanced than B-hops which makes for a better watch. Although Mayweather employs spoiler tactics it isn't half as aoften as B-Hop with the ugly stuff. For the record I love watching both guys but casuals would definetly be more drawn to Mayweather, if you showed a non boxing fan highlights of both 10/10 they would come away more impressed Mayweather.

People do not give PBF enough credit for being business savvy. The guy has the Uncanny ability to make a lot of smart moves and has made a brand for himself that has cross over to other cultures and resonates with casual fans. PBF is Hip-hop and Bhop is like old school rap. hip hop is everywhere (showing off money, wrestling, UFC dispute, Lin tweet) its mainstream. Old school rap scared people and did have an underground following but came across as more angry. Money had the pedigree while bhop served time. Everybody loves or loves to hate the bad boy but not many people like the villian. People loves a winner and PBF told everyone who would listen that he was a winner and the GOAT. PBF Flamboyance irks a lot of people (by design I might add because all the charity work he does is behind the scene) and many want to see him get his ass beat, Bhop just gets under people skin and pisses them off. PBF is a more entertaining fighter and rarely fights as spoiler like Bhop. Bhop is an OG thats get respect in the hood (by the establishment of boxing) and young Blood or a bit of a rebel that draws all eyes on him.

I haven't read anyone's opinion yet, but I will after i post this. Floyd is more entertaining inside & outside the ring to the casual fan. I think Floyd is one of the most entertaining "pure" boxers ever. Even casual fans admire his work in the ring, which is why he's such a huge draw (outside of fans wanting to see him lose). Hopkins style is more rugged, isn't as pleasing to the eye.
