Very strange to me. He said FLoyd was big, and he was little...Yet, they fight in the same weight divisions, Pac is pretty damn built (he probably has some of the biggest legs in boxing!), and Pac has already DESTROYED bigger opponents...Cotto is bigger, and Clottey is MUCH bigger than Floyd! Pac may be a little smaller, but not by much. If anything, he's even more compact. Floyd is roughly 5'8 (about), and Pac is 5'6 1/2, and they both come to fight night around 150. Floyd looked a little bigger than that last night, but not by that much... So, why would he say this? To give Floyd confidence? Does Pac really think he's small?....Even though he wasn't nervous about Cotto/ Clottey it seemed???
It's another in a long line of excuses that his team have made since the drug testing issue was brought up.
Floyd actually said he came into the ring last night weighing 147lbs. and that he ate three time after the weigh in because he wanted to come in around 152 lbs. There is a negligable size difference between the two.
What's that really got to do with anything though? I know he said he was small, and that's reason he doesn't want to be even MORE at a disadvantage...Yeah, he does beleive that these drug tests are putting him at a disadvantage even though mayweather's taking them as well. Between Floyd getting straight up ROCKED in the 2nd, and Mosley looking old, slow (at least after the 2nd round) and looked gassed a bit...Are these really results that tell otherwise? Floyd didn't move as much either (THANK GOD!). Guessing he chose to fight that way, but you only saw him doing what he had to do, and not wasting energy. So, again. What would that excuse have to do with anything about him losing? Plus, I'm a big Pac fan (he's my favorite), but if he lost like Mosley did...Mayweather would just obviously be the better fighter....Not just the BIGGER fighter.
Your body produces all the blood that's taken from you within an hour anyway. I have absolutely no idea why Pac is saying this 'I'm small' ****.
Didn't Pac weigh like 149 or 150 for the Oscar fight though? That was 4 fights ago...You think Pac would have growed in to his frame by then. Can't remember what he weighed for Clottey, or Cotto?
It has nothing to do with it, but I'm assuming he thinks he'll have less blood than Mayweather or something like that.
Looks can be deceiving. Mosley may have been around 155 lbs. The extra weight he put on was probably water weight. Meanwhile, Mayweather was 147 lbs. of solid muscle. Look at the Gatti fight. Mayweather looked bigger than Gatti in that fight but we all know damn well Gatti weighed more. He looked bigger than Judah as well, but Judah weighed more.
That's what a thread on ESB said...After Pac watched the fight yesterday supposedly. Never read the article posted (only what they took and posted on ESB). Said Pac would take the tests, things about cut off dates though, and Floyd is big, Pac was little, so he didn't want to be at a disadvantage. Nobody seemed to question the legitimaticy of the article so I assumed it was true.
