I watch Floyd because I know he has a horrible chin and is a mess going backwards.
Any fighter even if they are 40 who is even a notch below his talent level (which he rarely fights) can knock him out. So I watch Floyd because he is so overrated that he can be knocked out anytime. Mosley was close even after being rusty and over trained.
Cotto, Williams, Manny and more would hand him his first loss and knockout.
25% or more watch to the see the hype bubble implode.

I like watching both Pacquiao and Mayweather and although I believe Floyd has the better boxing skills, Pacquiao is very exciting to watch. I am a BOXING fan first and foremost and hate all the nonsense I read on forums. I enjoy seeing good defense and good offense so I watch both guys.

I remember this old European women who'd show up to all of Ali's fights. One fight Ali went up to the old white lady to thank her for always coming to his fights.
She looked at him with hate filled eyes, and with a voice filled with venom said, "The only reason I come is to pray that this is the day you get your N***** ass knocked out.

Bet she was someone here's grandmother or mother. She knew as little about boxing as most here on this site.

Most fans, writers, and industry insiders gave Oscar a very good chance. They didn't favor him, but gave him a very good chance.

I'm just glad to see the brotha make a profit off of denied hate.It exist in corners where our ears aren't present,it exist on sites where it is safe to spew,it is denied in most any confrontational public situation, but it exists and is strong.Ali profited off of it and now Floyd.Let them hate.

IMO I find Mayweather fights exciting. Yes, he has had a couple stinkers but a lot of great fighters have. People forget this is boxing. The sweet science. Hit and not get hit. And he does it better than anyone. I understand if people hate him. But people who don't want to watch Mayweather fights I don't understand how they are boxing fans.

  12. I don't understand the first poll option. Why would I watch Floyd Mayweather to see Manny Pacquiao?

Because he can fight. Say what ever you want about his fighting style, but he breaks the will of all, or most, of his opponents with sound execution of his own brand boxing artistry. I'm a bigger fan of the sport then I am Mayweather though, as I'll generally watch anybody fight.

Suprised we got to 57 posts without someone mentioning this.

I would say most people who chose the first option think he is p4p#1.
For the sake of the poll just pretend you think he is.
