Why does a guy like GGG get a pass for fighting Tureano Johnson?'

^ couldn't have said it better, and I'm a fan of the guy. Even though Tureano is his mando, it's just disappointing watching him fight a guy who isn't even rated anywhere near the top 100 p4p on boxrec.

 

Ellerbe...I could prob stretch that statement and say ggg hasn't fought a guy who would have even registered in the top 40-50 p4p at the time or ever.....

 

I wouldn't be surprised if he hasnt fought anyone ranked in the top 100.. MW is a weak division. But it's also his natural weight class, I wish he kept his mouth shut about fighting everyone from 154-168, and didnt try to pick on chavez jr, then he really wouldnt get as much hate.

 

I agree....had they just been honest I prob wouldn't hate on him....at the same time I totally expect a guy like that to have people say things for him in order to try and build him

last night a guy on here actually said that its unfair to call out ggg for ducking ward and not call out Floyd for ducking ggg....when in reality the gap between Floyd and both of those guys is enormous when it comes to recognition........Floyd is a king in the sport and has nothing to prove......ya ggg may have more of a fanbase than ward...but the gap between them isn't huge or even that big......the gap between floyds earning power/resume and ggg's is enormous

 

Anyone saying Floyd is ducking GGG, but GGG is ducking Ward is legitimately re****ed and needs to kill themselves. Most likely some white racists. I dont think GGG is ducking Ward though, I just think he wants absolutely no part of him. It's just confusing to me that he wanted old man froch at 168, Chavez the bum Jr at 168, but big bad ward has to go down to 164?

 

well ya....I agree ggg wants no part of ward=kind of ducking to me....

a loss to ward ruins his brand at hbo...the savage machine aura.....id actuall give him major props win or lose for taking that fight....I think he could take an l there and still go back to mw and be a star doign what hes doing now(hbo could easily sell that he just wasn't able to handle a move up)...but apparently his handlers and hbo are just fine with him skipping that one....

 

I dont agree that people in different divisions can duck each other. That's just my opinion.

A loss to ward ruins his brand, but a win against ward makes history, and would be a better win than floyds over pac, or Fury over an ancient Wlad. It would be possibly one of the best wins of the 2010's. I guess he rather play it safe though, than go down in the history books.

i don't really disagree that you can someone in a different division...but if ur chasing fights in that division with certain guys but wont fight the one elite, prime, guy in that division? i kinda think its a duck...especially when ur entire career has been one division south....i might think differently had you moved up a couple of divisions over your career.....but ggg has never been south of 160...a move up one division isn't crazy....

 

He generally only gets hate from one specific ethnic group in one specific country.

Even the Gods hate Little g, especially Grizletoothcommiebaa, the Kazakhstan God of Goat herders. GiGi don't fight who they want him to.

 

Early 2015 some folks on BF24 were saying Tureano was a decent opponent for GGG. I couldn't be ****d to look it up. He's a mando, you fight mandos, enough said.

 

As is always announced before every Little g minor league event, this will be his toughest opponent yet.

 

K2 is to blame, they have allowed GBP to move to goal post until June 2016.
They should have enforced the mandatory and they didn't.

BJS has refused to fight him and now they are standing there holding their ****.

 

But they're all refusing to fight him you re****.
