here here. Bigcat would apreciate your comments on our world rankings and your P4P lsit. Same for you Bellew, Farnell and Nelson.

although Flopyd Mayweather, Freddie Roach and Roger Mayweather all boast LOL

Surely your proteges have to be able to understand you to be a decent coach?

I'm a Manc and I can barely understand the geezer, with his swine flu-esque, smacked out, Mancunian drawl!;)

EDIT: Just had a look at an interview with him on YouTube and he doesn't speak as bad as I thought he did. I was sure I knew exactly how he spoke! I could hear him in my head when I imagined it but I must be thinking of another Manc boxer, maybe Mike Gomez?

    Cotto, where are you?

  5. One of the things I really like about Arnie's gym is that all the lads seem to stick together. You always see them at ringside cheering each other on. I've no idea if Arnie makes them do that but it creates a good feeling in a gym when the boxers feel comfortable with each other and respect each other.

His gym is getting a reputation similar to what Phil Martin and his Champs Camp did in its early days. I think Arnie would be happy if he turned out as many champs as that gym did.

    Anthony.
Good to see you online, mate. Used to really follow your progress when it was the terrible threesome of you, Ricky and Mike Gomez. Was brilliant to see such talent in Manchester!

Anyway, completely off topic but I have been wanting to take up boxing (used to do a little when was a kid) and I was wondering if you would recommend Louvelite in Hyde (y'know, next to the library. Sure you've done some work in there).

I think it's three quid for two hours every tuesday and weds.

Do you know the guy who runs it? Would you recommend it or would you rather suggest somewhere else in Tameside/East Manchester?

Would love to hear your advice, mate!
Would also really appreciate the thoughts of anyone else local, would be great to get advice form Monsignor Bellows, too!

All the best for your future, mate and for all your trainees! All the best to you too, Tony Bellew!

As i always say the proof will be in the pudding.

Atm a lot of Arnie's fighters are prospects..so when they get to title level then we can start making calls on him as a trainer.
Atm we can only guess how far fighters will go and how far he can take them.

As China Hand Joe said we'll start to know the answer in a year or so.

One thing is for sure...all new trainers will have question marks over them and it's up to Arnie and the new blood of British trainers to shut up the haters or critics.

    That certainly wasn't a rant.

It was well written and extremely informative and interesting!

    :huh
How work that out Phil Martins fighters went and fought as the away fighter and beat the house fighters on small hall shows without tv they were with no major tv promoter,
Arnies Fighters are all the House fighters and with a major tv promoter,
