Can't stand MMA..i used to watch it but the novelty has worn off for me. Never seen so many guys **** scared of being hit.

The Henderson Bisping incident was the final straw for me aswell....made me sick to see that. I respect they get in there to fight but if some one said you wanna watch Fedor fight or Mayweather....Mayweather all day.

    What was that, mate?

Bisping is the Brit, isn't he? Michael Bisping, is he called?

Yeah, I find MMA completely tedious too! As pretentious as it sounds, I see an artform in boxing, I also see chess like technique but I see none of that in MMA, just homoeroticism.

    Yeah Bisping is a Brit.

I agree Boxing is a artform and when i see boxers rolling and slipping and pivoting and countering shots the way Mayweather does and Whittaker before him and Locche before him and the master Pep i know i'm viewing something special. Watching MMA i haven't seen anything that makes me feel that way.

I won't post the video cos i know i wasn't only one sickened by it but basically he knocks Bisping out cold and Henderson then knowing he's out cold lands another punch while he's on ground defenseless. If you do want to see it then type in Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping and it will have a number of clips of it...it will back up your feelings towards MMA. Henderson still feels he was right to land the final shot which sums him up as a man imo.

    jehosephat!!

Yeah, I think I'll skip that. Thank's for the explanation though.
I have seen something very similar in MMA, possibly the same event.

To me, there is little difference there to the scum-**** jumping on the lads head, outside the pub when he (or another member of his group) has already knocked him out.

I have read the entire thread and have the following to state:

The thread shows how easy it is for fans to discuss issues with those within the sport, could you imagine going into a football forum critising the manager, then the manager coming on defending himself, back up by his players? It is admirable that the trainer and his boxers have come on.

Having said that nobody is beyond critism, I just feel that it is to do with timing. Farnell clearly has a decent young stable, but it must within it have clear defined goals for each boxer. If the team do not meet these goals then maybe the original poster is right to question the coaching. However I think we are a good three years off asking questions of the capabilities of Farnell at this stage.

Now now, enough of the slagging off, the mma guys dont like it. Besides, Anthony was a great puncher but it wont help him when he is on his back getting beaten to ****. I do mma with some ex pro boxers, obviously its like a duck out of water, but you could snap these guys in half and there is **** all they can do about it, 99% of boxers would be the same, fact.

Who cares. Its a boring sport to watch. I bet half the guys from the WWE could out wrestle a boxer too it means nothing. Stick some gloves on and you'd get battered. FACT.

The talent pool in MMA is abysmal, worse than darts even.

You would have to be a complete degenerate to try the sport for starters.

The talent pool is perhaps a little better in Asia where disiplined athletes take part, but in the UK it can only possibly be degenerates who want to cage fight despite the culture they live in telling them cage fighting is a bit of a foolish thing to do. Maybe one day a talented individual in the Uk will slip through the net and become a world class athlete.

But I cannot see Uk MMA having it's own Phil 'The Power' Taylor anytime soon. Phil Taylor could have been a world class golfer if he had wanted to be.

Dont know about that mate, I've sparred with lots of boxers and never been battered. Jeff there are PLENTY of boring boxing matches also, they arent all barn stormers that's for sure, I'm a massive fan of boxing, but turned the telly of a few times when it became too tedious. But also agree with the fact that a lot of UFC bouts ae boring also. I was only replying cause you gave it the whole "Oh Arnie must be shitting himself now, ha ha ha" I dont know what the general consensus is, but I think outside on the street the mma guys wins 90% of the time, only my opinion of course.
