Why does Anthony Farnell keep geting top amature fighters when he is not proven?

That kind of post belongs on a Charlie Z thread. GSP vs whatever his name was was awful. It was the most boring thing i've seen for years, I've been to loads of MMA fights and i've yet to see anything remotely entertaining other then Paul Daly who I find entertaining because he fights like a boxer.

I know the trainers from Wolfslair and they were quite open about the fact that their fighters had no chance of out boxing any of the pro's they brought down for sparring but obviously when it ends up in the cuddling on the floor of course the person whose practised it most will win.

Its boring. Thats my opinion and who cares about how a fight would fare on the streets? Thats a conversation that should be saved for 12-13 year olds.

MMA has only sprung to prominence because of the gap shoddy promoters have left in the market. Boxing would be number one every day of the year if the proper match ups were made.

Ok, lets have a few home truths then. Guys on here, you, Billy, Arnie etc, etc, etc, all suck up each others arses. "Your great", oh so are you" shite does my head in. There you go, if you aint happy, tough. Now go and get your crew and give me a verbal lesson, oh Jeff the boxing guro.

What a lot of people here are doing is making judgements about people who are just establishing themselves in the paid ranks.......

You will have heard my harp on this site on so many occasions about the level of ability that Arnie has and the talent that is residing within Arnie's Gym......it goes beyond the contests.....

People just see 12, 18, 24 minutes etc of the fight..... they don't see the hours of hard graft and bonding that takes place, where the camararderie is built, where the confidence is harvested into total self belief.....

I mentioned about the 3 ingriedients that Arnie has on this site before so I aint gonna repeat myself.....

There are some fantastic times ahead... Bellew will have the Echo Arena banged out in the future....as will may other prospects at other venues that are going to flourish with Arnie.....

It's a discussion forum, the whole point is for people to put their opinions across. Jeff's allowed to have his opinion and put his across and you're allowed to have your opinion and put yours across too... posts like the one of yours I've quoted just generally don't come across well though.. it's more whinging than opinion. This is a boxing forum, of course you're going to get people that don't like MMA and love boxing on here and of course when you have people from the boxing world coming on here they're going to be well received because it is a boxing forum.

tony boy i dont suck up anybodies ass mate,just telling you what i see in farnell's gym and beleive hes a very good coach,do you seriously think for a minute frank warren would let frankie gavin go to arnies gym if he never had a clue? EH DONT THINK SO. PS. im a sado i like that mma stuff,get in there.

 

Perhaps fighters can see a good trainer on the up and want in before its too late. Having the knowledge is one thing but having the ability to pass it on in a way that it sticks is another and obviously Anthony has that particular gift. Some people are just born teachers.

 

its a stupid thread, you dont see anyone moaning about freddie roach being manny's coach etc and he wasnt the best boxer in the world and hasnt won a title and hes trained fighters such as;

Steve Collins, Virgil Hill James Toney Mike Tyson Michael Moorer Wayne McCullough Oscar De La Hoya Israel Vazquez

I meant in the way it's set up and the feel around it. It's getting a reputation of being a place where hard training happens with hard competetive sparring, but there's also an element of fun around the place. They know when to graft and when to have a laugh, which is vital for a successful gym.
