    Pacman did this too. He would smile and put his arms in the air each time he was tagged with a good shot. Its just a bravado thing to try and prove theyre not hurt.

    A lot of boxers did that. The assumption is, they are trying to convey they were not hurt. They were. No one buys the smiling.

    I think he does it to try to downplay his opponent's success, as his ego doesn't permit him to show he is hurt.
