Do you rate Marcus Beyer (3 time WBC SMW champ) higher now, as he beat D Green twice, first time when Green was an undefeated hard punching SMW.
So many say Beyer was rubbish yet rate Tarver now for beating a fighter Beyer beat twice :huh

The only reason is if B-Hop want to try and pick up a title belt in a higher weight class. I think Tarver should fight some more heavyweights. Most of them suck enough that a fight with a bloated 42 year old light heavyweight is a toss up.

BHop if getting past Dawson i think will jump at this for a CW belt/retirement. Let's see if Tarver will sit around for a year or so waiting for this (if BHop gets past Dawson and doesnt go for the Canadian money (which may even pay more).

Assuming Hopkins gets past Dawson, why on Earth would he fight Milkdud for chump change when he could probably make double the amount fighting Bute (if not more)?

Let Atonio beat one of the young top guns at LHW (or CW for that matter) and maybe then it would make sense for hopkins to re-fight a guy he already decisively beat. Tarver should fight Lebedev if he's staying at cw to see if he can improve on rjj's losing performance

#1 Rule of boxing: If your american any fighter you beat automatically makes you the most dangerous, ferocious and avoided fighter thats ever lived

    Example :

Mike Jones beats Raul Munoz, a guy who is 22-14-1 and had lost 3 of his last 6 ( 2 by KO )

his british counter part Kell Brooks beats Lovemore Ndou, a very respectable fighter who has never been stopped, whose recent losses have all come to fighters who have gone onto fight at world level.

Jones was rumoured to be fighting pacquiao soon

Brooks cant even get a fight with Khan

Does he really need to "deserve" a shot at Hopkins?

Yes, especially when he kicked his ass already.
