Why does Bellew get given a pass?

Bellew drained for 3 years, he has moved up and is comfortable at the weight....instead iof him getting **** he should probably be given a little more respect for his achievements so far!!

 

Haye talked for years about how he was going to destory Wlad and used it to sell duff fights on PPV. Then when he got the fight and the British pubic stumped up £15m in PPV he refused to go the ring, refused to engage for 11 rounds and then took his shoe off and started talking about his toe. He did this in the full glare of the British media, the full country was watching.

When Bellew fought Stevenson most British people had no idea who they both were, very few people knew they were fighting, a tiny number of people watched it and no one paid for directly.

That's the difference.

 

I dont think Bellew ever got a pass, he gets slated as much if not more than most. Wether he deserves that or not is another matter but if you think Bellew gets a pass you've not been paying attention.

Comparing him to David Haye is a bit unfair because Haye has had a much bigger profile in the UK and on the World stage so it's only natural he will draw more haters.

 

It'll be interesting to see who Tony faces if he doesn't face Haye.

Glowacki, Usyk, Lebedev - It has got to be one of these three if he doesn't face Haye.

 

Might very well be Afolabi, who got an offer to come out of retirement to fight for a CW belt.

 

He's shot. Huck would be a much better choice.

I can that belt being held hostage as Tony does bring in the numbers/has got a following.
