Because he lost and can't accept he lost, he acts like he won the fight when he didn't, The way he calls him a fraud is laughable, at least Cleverly was a world champion, Bellew is all bark and no bite talks a good game and gets in fights boring and looses at the top level, not even the very top seen is i never thought Cleverly was elite or anything. Bellew will likely win his next fight then tell us how good he feels and how he was weight drained before ect. Then step up again and loose at world level, Bellew is a European level fighter he will never win a world title he had a chance in his home town against the weakest champ in the division and still lost.

Two guys in same weight class who had same promoter. Natural rivals, Both don't rate one another. Competitive rivalry turns into war of words and that infamous presser.

The fight's close, Bellew wanted another shot. Cleverly feels to go in another direction. It builds from there. I can't speak for Tony but from my POV he feels he's better and probably felt he was more deserving of opportunities Nathan got. Nathan feels like he's a level above Tony and lets his feelings be known. This riles Tony up because he feels he's better then Nathan. You catch my drift..

Cleverly's personality clashes with Bellew's. I be honest i've struggled to warm to Cleverly he does come across a tad odd especially with Basshunter ring entrances.

Natural in this sport for there to be a rivalry. The hatred is there because of how the stories panned out. From Tony's side he probably wants revenge but he also stated he's going on his path. But i'm sure he'd fancy a rematch if things were ideal (titles and money).

I think the feelings mutual between the two..

I couldn't warm to Cleverly either, the entrance against Kovalev was truly awful.

I think it all boils down to envy when they were with the same promoter. Cleverly was the golden boy and probably got more money and lucrative opportunities. Bellew feels he was given an unfair shake and has been bitter ever since.

Now hang on a minute Mand. Say what you like about Nathaniel but just don't knock Basshunter. That's crossing the line that is. :nono

Cleverly refused to take the rematch because he "dominated" Bellew in their bout and said he had "outgrown" that level (Clev's words).

I would be pretty pissed too if somebody who got the lucky nod over me talked **** like that. I had the fight a draw by the way and was actually rooting for Clev at the time.
But the grudge is somehow from before that, so I have no idea.

He wasn't a Champion at all, and I believe that is where the allegation of fraud directly comes from.

Simple - Jealousy. Cleverly has ability that Bellew can only dream of.

He probably hates him because Clev had a belt and also beat him.

Also Clev has now been exposed at world level so what does that make Bellew
