Why does BOXREC lists Mayweather as #1 lb4lb instead of Pacquiao?

Actually, Mayweather IS the best. The only problem is his continuing reluctance to fight anyone who has a chance. For most fighters, beating even a faded Mosely, a small Marquez, and a overrated Hatton would be career best achievments. But for Floyd , everything being relative , those were easy fights.
On the other hand , Manny continues to fight guys much bigger than him , even fighting guys that Floyd has ducked for years.
Okay, Floyd deserves to be # 1, but what good is it if every carefully selected opponent is just another partner in a boring sparring session?
Then theres the big mouth, the ingorant behavior, woman beating , and reluctance to fight Manny.
Sure Floyds # 1 , not only at boxing , but also the all time biggest ignorant douchebag .

Jut because the formula gets calculated by a computer, doesn't mean it was designed impartially. You can make a formula to suit any outcome you want.

because when you move up in weight, according to boxrec it actually hurts your p4p rating. Because they figure "if this guy was a 1000 at WW, his opponents will be bigger at JrMW so he will be a 900"

That's just an example. The numbers are not exact but the application is the same.

Pac has moved up from Super Featherweight to Jr Middleweight in just over 2 years, so even though his p4p rating gets better because of his wins, it's always getting worse because of him moving up in weight.

Also, boxrec doesn't put much emphasis on the dominance of a win. Pac is on a streak where he has lost 1 round out of a scheduled 72 (the first round in the Cotto fight)

    Is that official?

I can't quite remember, but I'm sure I gave Margarito at least 1, at the most 2 rounds.

he's only lost 1 round out of 72 on all three scorecards. Some of the rounds were close though and a handful could go either way.

No matter how you spin it that's pretty amazing.

That's not true Philla...one of the judges from the Margo fight gave Margo 2 rounds...WTF?!
That's why I don't put any weight on that list either. Dirrell at 11 is a ****ing joke.

I said he only lost 1 round on all three scorecards. One of the judges gave Pacquiao every single round against Margo.
