Proof you say? Ok, I'm 3x less likely to get pulled over by the police than my neighbor who is a black dude from DC. FACT!!!! Advantage my lack of melanin..That's just a sample. From housing, to education, to employment, whites in general have a significant advantage over non whites. look up the plethora of studies and statistics on the matter. Do you think you would be where you are today if you weren't a white male? Honestly, hard work and all of that aside, if you can honestly say yes, then either you are an exception or a liar and a coward. The painful truth is white privilege exits dude. That being said, I don't feel guilty about it. Is it a shame, is it ****ed up, sure it is, but it's the world that we live in. How you can sit there and tell me that being white offers you no advantages is beyond me..

While I'm not a fan of the White Privilege concept, you'd have to be an idiot to think that the world (especially the US) is a meritocracy. The answer has more to do with class privilege than anything. (Slight exceptions are guys like Alvarez/Broner who are privileged because they're popular.)

The amount of resources you begin the game with largely determines your outcome, though it doesn't always. And yeah, in some cases the amount of resources you have are influenced by your racial background, but some things people regard as "privilege" aren't really privileges or resources. Nobody ever asks me to speak for all white people, but that rarely happens to anyone and people that do it are idiotic. Do workers watch/follow black people in stores? No, they watch young people, typically groups of white teenagers. (I know this because it used to be part of my job.) Technically I could go live in a place that's exclusively white, but there are also places that are exclusively black. I don't need to "unpack the invisible backpack" to explain why my brother can walk into a redneck bar and have no issues but I end up getting real/implied threats (while before I grew my hair out nobody ever batted an eye). It's geography, demographics, and education levels. Most of this privilege is either not real, not actual privilege, or privilege based on class. And yes there are racist people/places where white people are privileged. Same goes for other races, but whites are (currently) the majority so it's going to lean more that way.

tl;dr: Broner is a dumbass and put himself under the microscope intentionally. Forced under the microscope that we were forced to look into, even. I never asked to see televised fights involving huge size/skill mismatches. I never aked networks to make a mockery of real fighters by insisting Broner was the next big thing and putting him on p4p lists despite having 3 robberies in fights cherrypicked to make him look good. It 100% is not a racial issue, it's an issue with marketing/hype/being sold something I don't want.

3 times as likely to get pulled over by the police? HOW HORRIBLE:lol: Wow, that must have a huge impact on someone's life. Why would you be scared of the police if you have nothing to hide?

As a side note, blacks who account for 13% of the population of the US also account for 50% of all violent crime. Just a statistic for you,- look it up:smooch

Housing, education & employment? Asians have the advantage over every race there, and as I said before- this correlates with better standardized test scores. ASIAN PRIVELIGE?:rofl:patsch

The things you mentioned are a result of your work & capacity. If you're stupid you don't deserve to go to college. If you're incapable to work in a certain position, you can **** off and do something else. IF you cant afford a certain house, GET ONE THAT YOU CAN AFFORD:lol: No one deserves anything from the "world". You get what you work for. Every entitled idiot thinks the gov should provide for them instead of getting their **** together and actually doing something with their life

You presented absolutely no facts to prove your point, so kindly **** off. I noticed you are way too stupid to argue, so I'm done here

Ok, what your drivel really says is "I'm too busy enjoying all of my tasty white privilege to realize the things that take place everyday". You are really an idiot and a ****ing coward dude. It's funny though, because you are a brainwashed ******** living in denial.

Which is why Hindu Americans are one of the two most successful groups of people in America, the other being Jewish Americans.

Jewish people are white. We don't distinguish white people by their ethnic heritage around here :bart

This basically sums it up. If Showtime, The Ring (who had him in their P4P top 10), and his promoter hadn't focused such a massive microscope on him this would just be the simple case of another up-and-comer getting knocked off.

it's not a race thing. it's a clown thing. he's a clown and a braggart, and someone people regularly compare to the best in boxing hands down, so someone who has been anointed before proving to be worthy of such praise. that is all. there have been and still are fighters who exist, that are under the same microscope of varying intensity, depending on their popularity and polarizing status. that really is all there is to it. people too quickly highlight race as the sole or overwhelming reason why some entity is so highly profiled. in all actuality, that diminishes the validity of the legitimate claims of racism that do exist, in droves, societally.
