easy question to answer.. Cotto knows that he'll make more money fighting Trout and Canelo next than getting beat by PAC again. He has moved on as well and he knows that he does have a chance in beating Canelo and would set him up for another huge payday against maybe chavez, martinez etc..

Miguel will come out with reasons like weight and such nonsense, in reality he's just using Mannys name to get attention.

He has no intention of taking a beating like that ever again, personally I cannot blame the man.

He risked his health once and it almost cost him his career.

Yes plus the savage beating Pac put on him , he wants no part of that again.

Its far easier to make money and cruise another 12 with mayweather all over again.

It very simple he is a free agent and has options this time and doest have to sacrifice his body/health again. Trust me the rematch hasnt happend because of Cotto, but because of Manny and his team when it comes to weight. Simple as that and the honest truth. The thread should read "Why doesn't Manny want to fight Cotto at 154 with no demands? Also rumor is that perhaps the Cotto team ask for random testing, hint why Arum has been so bitter and negative about Cotto recently:D

Yes, Mayweather picked him apart with pinpoint accurate punches.
But he took them and kept coming.
Pac doesnt have what Mayweather has.
This version of Cotto is much stronger than the other one that fought Pac.
Too strong and too big for Pac.

When you have to weigh a certain weight and not be able to rehydrate, then why fight the guy? He already has money. both fighters should be able to fight at full strength.

:deal I think the Cotto that fought Mayweather would beat Pac. A healthy Cotto is an elite fighter who can compete at the highest levels.

Did you even watch the fight? Cotto had his nostrils flaring and bloody. Stop exaggerating by saying he got dominated.

that blood was bull**** man. people party because floyd bled but that's it. money dominated that fight and finished strong. besides, floyd had a cold before the fight and already had a bleeding nose. lol at people thinking cotto did a lot of damage.

Cotto fought Money better than anyone in a long time. He made Floyd work hard and tired. At this stage, you can't ask for much more. He put in a good performance.

its the catchweight again, he did himself and the world a favor not bending to pac's demands. Nobody wants to see another meaningless fight

hypocrisy at it's finest. he has no problem asking margarito for a catchweight fight to defend his title.

but i agree that it's a meaningless fight now since they already fought each other when it mattered most when both are still at their primes or close to it.
