Watching 24/7 and saw Oscar say he was washed up when he fought Mayweather.. Seems like he does this during every May fight.. is it jealousy or hatred?.. IMO Mayweather will beat a prime De La Hoya easy..
De La Hoya doesn't like Floyd because of their 24/7. Floyd was talking alot of **** to De La Hoya. IMO it would be a good fight. I don't think Floyd beats Oscar easy but he beats him.
He's just making excuses for his loss, in a fight he picked the weight, ring size, gloves to his favor and still couldn't win. They've made a lot of money together, Oscar's given him a lot praise after Floyd whooped his fighters. However Floyd does call him "Golden Girl", "Golden Sissy". Oscar would be deeply sensitive to feminine and gay slurs after the fishnet scandal.
Fighters sometimes disrespect other fighters as a way of promoting the fight. Even if this was done for promotion you disrespected your opponent in front of everyone. Why does Fraizier still hate Ali? Disrespect is exactly that and the sting doesn't go away just cuz the fight did.
He wouldn't beat him easy at all. I think it would be a tough match and possible loss for Floyd. I think Floyd would take a decision at 147 prime for prime. But you gotta remember how much of a beast Oscar was prime. To answer your question, Oscar don't like Floyd because Oscar got G hate. He only hangs with one G, B-Hop, and I think he resents Hops too. Oscar gotta cool it on the G hate.
He praised him during the time he was on that white girl so now he's supposedly off it so he's back to showing his hate. F Oscar and his fishnets.
maywaether talked a lot of **** about him and mayweather is a very unlikable person, its pretty simple. DLH would have beaten him in his prime at welter, he was too big/ fast , and he took a prime Floyd to an SD when he was way over the hill, so.
DLH wasn't close to being washed up when he fought Floyd. But he was nowhere near his prime either. Considering how competitive their fight was I feel comfortable DLH would win had they both been in their primes. But it would still be competitive.
Honestly I've always liked De La Hoya but I'm losing respect for him.. I can understand him being behind his fellow Mexican/American but to try and discredit Floyd is wrong.. Floyd out boxed him while excepting all of his conditions and now he is bitter. Floyd Mayweather is still making De La Hoya money and he should be a bit more respectful IMO
Does he? Maybe, on a personal level since he was disrespected bigtime by FMJ in their 24/7. But as a promoter, nahh.. no way..:nonoFMJ brings in big cash to his company.
