It would be nice to see Wilder take a step up in competition but I'm not sure the reason is a bad chin, even though he could have one but I don't know. Even if his chin was weak he could step up his competiton level without facing a real puncher. I think he hasn't stepped up because his handlers simply feel he isn't ready or, more likely to me, they love the marketability of having won all of his fights by ko. I think as soon as he has to win a fight by decision he'll start to take some real steps up in competition.
His Chin is confirmed Glass. He was brutally KOed in the amateurs and was nearly decapitated by journeyman bum Harold Sconiers. It is not a question of if he has a Glass Jaw but rather how bad it is, and I am wagering that he has the sort of Silly Putty Chin which could put Kirkland's Frangible Mandible to shame.
Yeah, he probably has a Amir Khan, Kirkland or (do i dare to say it?) a Roy Jones Jr type chin.. :rofl:roflatsch
Gee, we all know he Larry Holmes got sparked in the ams and that he was clearly hiding something until he ran into Mike Tyson.
I agree wholeheartedly. Only time will tell, but if Wilder ever decides to stop robbing the cemetaries and the honky tonks for opponents I think he can definitely give Kirkland a run for his money. I think I'm leaning towards Kirkland, however, because anybody who gets dropped with a jab from a feather fisted Japanese guy is bound to give us an elite-level highlight reel of Shattered Glass!
Lol, the heavyweights suck but people post start threads about them all the time so I express how I feel. Once you get tired of the typical PBF/Pac threads what else are there on this board? :thumbsup
