What's the deal with Judah and DLH both losing, and getting big fights? Hi I own the company so I'll keep putting myself in there with people who I can't beat...???

Please don't put DLH alongside Judah. Oscar has done the hard graft earlier in his career, enough to make him an ATG, and thats why he is benefitting now. Judah is a shambles, so yes, he should not be mentioned for the big ones.

Did you know how much Judah was paid for fighting Spinks, if I recall correctly it was a very small sum for someone like him.

I agree its annoying.judahs even more annoying because hes not even popular or box office.
reminds me of my annoyance that the wbc would never even dare to ask DLH to fight a mandatory or earn a title shot.oscars puppet organisation.

Why does Bill Gates still make dem ****ing computers? Huh?

In all honesty, De La Hoya DOESN'T deserve any big fights right now with Mayweather, Cotto, or Williams. But he's one of the greats and has such a huge name in the sport. When he fights, it means money...and that's why he gets and will continue to get big fights.

Judah doesn't deserve them by any means, but he is a name fighter who can bring decent money.

DLH makes sense but Judah still getting big fights blows my mind. The only fights of note that he has stepped up and won as of late was the Spinks rematch. Other than that...loss after loss. Baldomir, PBF, Cotto, and whoever they put in front of him next that isn't a journeyman. Judah should go down to 140 and stir some **** up or retire.

In between those loses he puts wins, before the Mayweather fight and after the Hopkins loss he needed a big win and he got it in form of Ricardo Mayorga. Also his loses are controversial, even the Mayweather one, a SD loss and some people thought he deserved the win. Also despite the loss to Mayweather he was the one trying to make the fight so the avg fan thought he showed a good performance and is willing to pay to see him again. When Oscar loses convinsingly it will be the end of 30+ mil for him for a fight.

Mayweather lost 2 rounds at the most to Oscar, without breaking sweat. Oscar can retire.

That loss to Mayweather is only controversial to his fans and few of them. I would gather that more than 75% of the people who saw that fight had PBF winning cleanly, may 15% had it a draw, and the remaining 10% had DLH actually winning.

Oscar layed down his ground work early in his career - plus he put asses in seats and get big PPV numbers. (he never win the big fights)

Judah has the name - the skills - and the talent - but for some unseen reason - he can't put them all together. (3 loses to Undefeated Fighters & 1 lost to a fighter who was Undefeated for 20+ fights/almost 5 years)

The real reason both keep getting big names and big fights is because Boxing is a business first - sport second. The more money a fight can make - the better business is.

Both of those fights were far more controversial. Though the numbers may be close to what I said in the DLH-Trinidad fight. I don't think it's the same with Castillo-PBF I
