Why does every wlad opponent try to get on the inside?

Just watched the fight, thought wlad won around 8 to 4. I knew Jennings wouldn't be a walk over as wlads ageing and Jennings is pretty good. I don't like them tactics of just lungin inside wlad I think Jennings would have been better off just moving and lookin for soft shots , fight very defensively and make it a boring fight. every opponent tries to do it haven't seen many get much success though. This could work for fury but I think it's a pretty **** tactic for anyone else .

Considering that Jennings has the same reach as Wlad and is younger and athletic, that lunging tactics can only be explained as a 'safety first' attempt to make it the final bell while putting some offence on the display.
It has never been an all out assault to win the fight but rather a risk/reward driven approach to it. And you can't beat Wlad playing by his own rules...

:deal, fury will make it a brawl. wladmir is looking even more vulnerable. he cant weigh in at 241 against tyson fury, he would get mauled. fury would have 20lbs over him, youth and strength. :admin

There's a double whole in your theory and that is Fury's chin and him being too stationary. Wlad's big rights are coming and landing, it's a given. What's not given is Fury's ability to absorb them and press on.
