Why does Everybody give Wlad so much Slack?

Joe Louis fought more than 50% cruiserweights. Ali struggeld with Douglas or Cooper, who not even be top ten cruisers today, let alone contenders at HW. Lack of exciting fights is not the same as lack of talent.

Well that may be true, but Wlad's best win of his career was against Chris Bryd, who is not a natural Heavyweight by any means, he started his career as a Super Middleweight I believe.

 

Uh, when did he beat Ross Purritty? Last I checked he only rematched a damaged goods Brewster who needed a payday. Ross was still out there for years after he stopped Wlad.
