what I would notice about Peter is he would crowd himself in so tight that when he throws that looping right it has nowhere to go but the back of the head...I noticed he tries not to crowd himself as much...a little more space for that punch to hit the face

I have noticed this as well, though he did give himself some room against Maskaev, but I would still like him throw more straighter punches in the future. They hit their mark faster, and should be able to get more snap at the end of your punches more as well.

I agree. The chambers fight will be interesting with the way chambers just stands there. Will Sam give that room needed to land those punches or will he straighten them out. time will tell.. I still think Peter will beat chambers

It's hard to diss a man who is good at what he does. We may not like his style of fighting, but, he gets the job done almost every time out. He's come a long way since Brewster. He is very much in control of a fight and that is how u win. No, his style may not be pretty, but, I don't think that is his fault. A reason may be because there just isn't anybody better than him right now. Maybe his brother, but, that's it. U ought to stick to what works, and Wlad's style of fighting works absolutely fine for him.

your real hw division didn't involve soviet block fighters, or many overseas fights...comparisons are subjective...sentimental value of the so called golden era clouds your judgement

This fight is a 50/50 for me, even as a huge Peter fan, I think this fight wont be easy for Peter to win at all. Samuel needs to jump on him early and make it a dog fight, if it turns into a boxing match I see Samuel losing 116-112 on the scorecards. This fight could make or break Peter, I just hope he comes back from the Vitali beatdown stronger, not weaker

There is no gray areas. You either like him or dislike him. They say his boring. Well so is the likes of Hopkins, Wright, and pleothra of other fighters. He doesn't please the crowd and that's nothing to argue about, its a fact. I don't really view him as boring, but more of clinical fighter. Is he a perfect fighter? No absolutely not. His got his flaws-no doubt about it. In the end Lewis got the same treatment when he was a champion. Boring, Glass Jaw, didn't fight a prime tyson, a weak division and etc. I think Klitschko's Legacy will be judged when he retires. And those that think that his better than Ali, Foreman, are not Klitschko fans, there plain old stupid.

I don't understand why past has to be held over people so much, and that goes for anyone. I don't look at the Haye-Thompson fight and consider that proof beyond doubt that Haye is pathetic, nor do I look at Wlad's past problems and decide that he isn't tough. What matters is where they are today.

I also don't understand how boxing clinics that end with knockouts are also held against him. I don't hold it against Mayweather that he didn't get lots of KOs as he moved up in weight, Wlad still ends things early even with his ability to jab like he does.

I wonder how many of us would get a bit defensive and "scared" if we got hit by a 250 pound man a few times. Might change our attitudes.
