Why does Everybody give Wlad so much Slack?

I realy like it to watch Wlad´s fights and the talking between Steward and Wlad in the corner. There everybody could see how good this two man works together.

But i believe you need some brain to understand this kind of fighting. Boxing is not only throwing punches or take them.

The great Muhammad Ali was a master of game planes and avoided punches in his earlier career. When i read some post critizing Wlad for not taking punches, i hear my grandpa "Ali is not a boxer, this ******* is dancing around, he should box not wrestling..." He watched every fight from Ali and hopes he will loose because of his fighting style. My grandpa was a Fan of Joe Frazier.

I respect Wlad for his hard work to come back and because he stays with Emanuel Steward. I believe it was very hard for him but he goes his way and this shows his strong and great character.

All the comparison with Ali, Holmes, Frazier etc. makes not sense for me.

Wlad is a very good boxer and he wants to learn more. He works with Steward, a HOF, and i believe that Wladimir had very great respect for this Champs.

 

For me personally and I do knock him more often than I praise him, I knock him because there seems to be an arian-super-man faction to his fan base, I don't think he'd beat Lennox prime for prime, not Ali, nor Holes and so on but there are just so many people who talk so much shite about how wonderful he is when he's a 'pluses and minuses' kind of fighter. I repect him as a great boxer, meaning great as in very good rather than Alexander the Great, flawed diamond, whatever. He's a good fighter, not the most exciting, but good, not brilliant. Some people talk such bollocks that you can't help but argue.

It's proabably because of his weak resume which isn't his fault but.... And him being clean cut and acting like a fruitcake doesn't help either. Everytime he wins a fight, he runs up to the ring post with that gay grin and throws up a peace sign... Now that looks real gay incase some of u didn't notice.. American fans don't like that kind of ****.. We want a killer, a stone cold steve austin, not some clean cut *** who smiles all the time.

I don't know, I don't get the hate. I think a lot of it is the anti-Russian **** most of us grew up in. We were taught to not trust the Russians. I know atleast in the USA, anyone over the age of 30 was brought up in a world worried that the Russians were going to nuke us.

I like watching his fights, they are exciting even if the fight inside the ring isn't.. because his chin is an issue, it's always there... one punch can change it. Plus Wlad is explosive when he hurts a guy.
