Big Bang Zhangs style is perfect against a Joyce or that Polish Heavyweight punching boxer I forgot his name. But dude can’t hang with a Wilder or a Fury. He’ll knock punching bag Joyce out again but he’s not as good as y’all try to advertise him. Styles make fights.

That's why Fury and Wilder keep ducking Zhang - he will ruin the carefully constructed fascade of these media hypes. You're a believer, pray for all of us on your golden rusting cross.

I can definitely see Zhang giving Fury problems, but don't think he can hang down the stretch with him. Zhang's gast tank is his big weakness.

As for Wilder, Zhang's pretty much a bigger version of Ortiz. Sure Wilder kan find the KO, but Zhang would be a big threat and I don't think Wilder is going anywhere near him.

Didn't Zhang suffer kidney failure during that fight?

Yep, he was basically almost dying in there and still fought him to a draw. So you have to look at that fight in the context of the situation.

Zhang is far from unbeatable but that draw against Forrest doesn't reflect his true level.

I do think Zhang is problematic for Joyce style wise. I see this type of contest as an attritional one.

I've heard this, but what was the cause of it? And is it still an ongoing issue for him?

Don't know, maybe an acute case of Rhabdomyolysis, which would explain the kidney failure and dehydration he suffered.

I assume it's not an ongoing health condition as he would probably not be cleared to fight.

He was in Florida a week before the fight and thought he'd "slim up" by only drinking a single cup of water the whole week he was there. How his team let this happen is true incompetence

Not saying Zhang would beat Wilder but in what world does Wilder fight remotely like Forrest?

Regardless of the outcome. Zhang & Joyce are easy Fury prey and will be Fury's 3rd fight under a Saudi deal.

They'd both pose more of a threat to Usyk than AJ though, but Fury will retire him over 2 fights then retire off Zhang or Joyce I suspect...or AJ if he can beat Wilder in the next 12 months which won't happen.

I agree, Joyce simply cannot let Zhang have the pace he wants or his face will break down again. I feel he has to apply pressure and turn this into a fight instead of a boxing match.
