Because Canelo is A-side and he calls the shots? Ummm no he doesn't. The rules clearly say a mandatory challenger can fight at the full 160. The champion has NO say in that. GGG has stated multipul times he will not fight Canelo below 160 and by the rules he doesn't have to. Canelo with either fight GGG at 160 or he will refuse and hand GGG his title. If he gives his title up everyone will look at him as a coward and that's just the reality of it

If you notice, a lot of Golovkin haters are Mayweather fans. Golovkin will KO one of Mayweather's best win. He'll make it look easy. Mayweather fans jelly, jelly.

He doesn't have to, he can enforce the rules and get him to fight at 160 or drop that WBC title.

If Canelo drops the belt it better be for a bigger fight or he will be labeled a coward for a month and then we will all forget because **** changes too fast in the world.

GGG can fight Johnson for it but without a big PPV name soon HBO will be without a superstar.

155 or no payday simple as that

Canelo is cash cow here not Genna

Or he can keep fighting guys like Dominic Wade

He should be able to KO everyone on Mayweather's resume since he's naturally 6 divisions heavier than Floyd:lol::lol:

Yea but its not smart to deplete yourself just for a payday especially in boxing where u can get seriously hurt. Same reason why Ward wouldn't go to 164 for GGG.just not the smart thing to do. GGG will get decent paydays if he is the unified MW champ and his big fights will come

Notice I'm talking about Canelo, though. You know, the guy who comes into the ring at 171 lbs., arguably larger than Golovkin too.

No man has to do anything he doesn't want to do.

If Little g doesn't want to fight at 155, then darn gollywog if he has to.

If I were Golovkin, I'd just fold my arms, pout my lips and just sit there and watch as those two mean ole SWWs tossed my belt between them playing keep away. I wouldn't let them bully me anymore, gosh got darn!

Agreed:good. It's mind boggling that a middleweight champion expects another one to fight him at a lower catch weight. Can't wait to see GGG knock him out. But money talks as usual.

When was the last time Canelo came in at 171? Pretty sure his last few fights were 173-175ish. At least before Canelo started hiding his fightnight weight like Mayweather.

He's been mandatory for a good while now, just keeps taking dem step aside dollars.

Either lose the 5lbs or try to get him stripped, don't cry that nobody wants to fight you. Ward said he's keen and so did Lara.

Why talk as if Ward and GGG have any potential of happening? It's less likely at this point than Mayweather/GGG.

    This exactly.

G is the mandatory. If his promoter WON'T enforce that for the next fight, then fire him and get someone who will. The clock is ticking on GGG. Maybe he won't get the huge payday from El Pollo, but he could lead a pretty comfortable life defending the undisputed, unified title 2-3 times a year.

What the hell do pbf fans have to be jealous of ggg you damn fool? Pbfs resume and accomplishments are 100000 light years beyond that of his. When GGG moves up 5 weights classes goes undefeated in 3 different decades is lineal at two weights simultaneously is a top 3 atg defensive fighter and makes more money than any other boxers in history then talk until then stfu. Pbf could come back right now and tell ggg to jump and he'd say how high lmfao. Jealous of ggg nah ****boi it's the other way around.
