So a guy like Tommy couldn't have decisioned Floyd?

    Didn't Castillo nearly do it?

Yeah, Floyd really tried to fight Manny earlier didn't he?

    They don't.

Floyd is greater by some distance.

Get the f*ck out of here with that BS!

NOBODY else had an issue with fighting Manny back then.

Floyd only became on a crusade to clean up the sport of boxing after his big mouth Daddy had labelled Manny a cheat without ZERO proof of any wrong doing.

Manny didn't have to agree to sh*t, and I'm not even a huge fan of the guy.

One of the biggest misconceptions in boxing is that Manny refused the testing.

NO he DIDN'T. He didn't refuse the testing, he just wanted a window where he was left alone in the last few weeks of his camp. Now considering there was no proof of any wrong doing, and he was willing to give urine every day plus an immediate after fight blood test, what was wrong with that? Tell me. He was happy to be randomly tested at any period within a 6/7 week window, but wanted a cut off. That should have been sufficient, but Floyd kept moving the goal posts. In the end, he wouldn't budge on the cut off days. They couldn't reach a compromise. But Floyd could have agreed to Manny's request, seeing as though Manny had first agreed to his.

You've got to be an absolute idiot if you think Floyd really wanted that fight and it was Manny who prevented it from happening.

They don't PBF is ranked ahead of Hagler and Hearns while SRL and Duran rank ahead of him. Ring Magazines best 25 fighters since WW2 PBF was 12th and that was before he beat Pac.

You have to look at who they lost to, at what point, and all of the circumstances involved.

Compare a guy like Iran Barkley who beat Hearns, to Floyd. Skillwise, Floyd and Iran are worlds apart.

Barkley was a lesser fighter than Floyd. But again, look at all of the circumstances.

So yes, lesser fighters than Floyd beat the likes of Hearns, but we're looking solely from Floyd's perspective here and nobody else's.

It doesn't matter if Hearns was beaten. We're looking at Floyd fighting him when he was at WW, whilst an*lysing Floyd's attributes. And the same applies to Ray and Duran.

Yeah, but what's that got to do with what I originally said?

He wouldn't fight Canelo at JMW, even though he said he didn't care what weight he rehydrated to.

He deliberately came in over weight against JMM.

He put up every conceivable road block to prevent the fight with Manny from taking place.

He wouldn't rematch Oscar, even though he's in the "cheque cashing" business.

He retired when the WW division was hot.

Now take in all of the above, and come back and tell me he'd have fought a guy like Tommy Hearns at WW.

    It's absolutely laughable mate.

They are simply greater because they actually card to be great and fight all comers when it mattered and didn't use health comes first as an excuse to cherry pick !

I agree, it's a testament to Floyd's great ability that we're even having these discussions.

He was prime at the lower weights and I think he's one of the greatest fighters of all time. But all of this has started due to the ridiculous comments made by the TS.

Right when you said "Carlos Hernandez scored a knockdown on Floyd" is when I knew that you don't actually know what your talking about and you just troll Boxrec. Go and watch the fight and then tell me he scored a knockdown on Floyd.

IN the early 2000s Floyd was one of the biggest draws in the world whether or not his nickname was money. Don't bother trying to 'educate me' as you're clueless. 'Real boxing fan':lol::lol:? You're a Floyd fan that made the statement that all of those guys ducked him until they were past prime and then refused to support your point:patsch. I'm not letting anything 'cloud my judgement'? You are. Just for the record, what performance(s) and version(s) of Mayweather at 147 indicate(s) that he would have beaten either prime Leonard or prime Hearns? Can't wait to see your answer and why. Wow, I just remembered something. Floyd came in OVERWEIGHT against the naturally much smaller Marquez:lol::patsch. Yeah just another great win for the Floydster.
