Hearns chin is not atrocious. It's not iron, but it's better than you think. Leonard and Hagler are punchers.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Get real. It is damn near impossible for Floyd to beat Hearns. Hearns is the worst stylistic match-up you could find for Mayweather. Floyd would have no answer to Hearns' distance control and longer, superior jab. His low-output counter-punching style is going to be useless against a fighter who can just pepper him from a safe range.

You keep mentioning Hearns fragility but how is that relevant to a match-up with Mayweather? Floyd has one legitimate knock out at welterweight. ONE. It is Floyds chin that interests me more. If the wartorn, PED-free corpse of Mosley could rock his world with one right hand, then Tommy puts him on a stretcher.

Just admit your hero can be beaten. It's not that hard.

Right.. He put quotations around something he made up, then he said Canelo looked like he came from "a concentration camp" who now feels his best is three whole pounds north of that.. I stopped reading after that...

Most of that isn't luck - it's a well orchestrated plan to fight people at the right time. When Manny was in his prime Floyd admitted to wanting no part of him. This is a fact.

Nope.. He was lucky Canelo was too young instead of him being too old and small.. He was lucky Oscar and Mosley didn't accept his challenges when they all were younger.. He is lucky Gurerro was distracted by his sick wife.. He was lucky the ref handled the fight so bad against Ortiz.. He was lucky Marquez accepted the money for him being 2 pounds over the agreed on weight.. He wad lucky Pac beat Algeri so he wouldn't have to fight him.. He was lucky Hatton agreed to 147 and got knocked into the ring post with a check hook.. He was lucky Maidana got caught with bogus gloves with missing padding or else he couldn't have made him use "pillows".. He was lucky Bob Arum didn't pay him what he wanted, or else he would have fought Margarito....ect Luck luck luck luck...

So nobody has ever ducked Floyd? Floyd ducked all those fighters, is that the way you tell it?

possible. Near the end you got different Hagler's. You got the Hagler who was cautious and fought Duran, the Hagler who was ultra aggressive and fought Hearns, and the Hagler who chased SRL more than he should have needed to. That Hagler, Mayweater could possibly beat, assuming he'd even get in the ring with him.

I wonder who actually listens with an open mind and are thus open to seeing things from a new perspective, or just want to drive their point home full throttle?

Hey, I get it...I understand, there are no more current or previous generation fighters left to become the Floyd Killer. He pretty much has beat them all, only argument left is to beat him with the nostalgia of boxing's past.

None of which detracts from the cast-iron fact that Floyd admitted he wanted no part of a prime Manny, stating instead that his health was mopre important. You can't escape what he said. :hi:

I doubt anyone ducked Floyd since it would be their biggest payday. Maybe when he was not drawing much money. But that's quite distinct from not fighting him because they were scared - as he was of Manny. And he admitted as much. :deal

Mayweather only became a money draw after the ODLH fight - by which point he was past his peak. He's probably the most ducked fighter of the early 2000s. Ducked by many who would come crawling out of the woodwork years later looking for their payday.
