Why does everyone say Lennox would destroy RJJ when Roy himself said he'd beat Lennox in this video?

LOL why is it almost always the same posters that consistently go against the grain and go with the most unpopular opinion?

If you want to be a successful troll, you have to make it less obvious.

And of course, Roy will say he thinks he can beat LL - this same ego is what caused Roy's great success in the first place. Although, I do remember when Lampley asked Jones about the possibility of facing Holyfield, he said "I don't know - Evander is looking pretty diesel these days!"

What are you talking about? Did you not watch the video? Even Lampley said that he told Roy that he had a chance of beating Lennox. It's in this video.

I wasn't talking about you, sorry I should've made it more clear. I was talking about the same posters who show up in threads over & over and they always go against the popular opinion.

Don't think Roy would be speaking today if he had fought Lennox Lewis back then.

Look what happened when Jones fought Tarver ? He got knocked cold lol
Old Roy loved promoting himself If only he was half as good as he thought he was he'd be twice as good as he really was lol Just imagine Lennox big overhand right hitting Roys glass jaw

Lennox not only had the huge power and skill level to put Roy out quickly, but also the boxing brain, which was at least as good if not better than Roy's. It wouldn't take Lewis long to realize that no matter where he lands almost any punch, even the jab, he hurts Roy. That would spell disaster for Jones.

RJJ is my 2nd favorite boxer of all time and even I was happy he never fought Lennox Lewis. Had he fought and beat Holyfield he would've garnered a more favorable heavyweight cache.

But RJJ still accomplished what Holyfield, Rahman, Golota, Kirk Johnson, Oquendo and McCline failed to do: beat John Ruiz for the WBA trinket.
