Is it a nostalgia thing or bias ?

Floyd cherrypicking is a myth. One of the funniest one's in boxing, since he's actually fought better competition, in recent years, than probably any other active boxer. Floyd comes off 2 years of inactivity at 32: fights Juan Manuel Marquez, Ward does the same (at 31) fights: Paul Smith. But Floyd is supposedly the bigger cherrypicker.

Pac, after his hibernation, fights Rios coming off a loss, but Floyd is supposedly the cherrypicker.

Floyd ducked top-level contenders and champions of his own weight class, like Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito, Kostya Tszyu, prime Manny Pacquiao, Erislandy Lara, and the next one to be ducked will be Keith Thurman.

Can you say the same for Roberto Duran? Well, you didn't, because you can''t.

MargaCHEATO, the one who lost to Mosley, Pacquiao and Cotto? Mosley, Pacquiao and Cotto all schooled by Floyd.

Prime Excusequiao? You must have forgot 2009 about RBT. No version of Scrubquiao beats Floyd :deal

    Nice one :patsch

You forgot to mention the REASON why Floyd retired from boxing for 2 years: he was being stalked by both Paul Williams and Antonio Margarito.:deal

Okay young'un if you want to call fighting the acknowledged 2nd best welterweight of all time, (and beating him no less) and a top 5 ATG middleweight (Duran was winning after 12 rounds) as cherry picking then I would invite you to list anyone who's not a cherry picker. :patsch

If Duran were around today, I think he'd take the GGG fight for what it's worth. He fought Barkley after Barkley KO'd Hearns so it wouldn't be a stretch thinking he'd fight GGG.

OF COURSE he cherrypicked. When you're TBE(ra), EVERYONE is a cherrypick! Look at Pac who looked more like top #100P4P than #2 :rofl
