Why does Floyd get no credit for his victories above Welter??

    Only one of those victories were ABOVE welter & that was Oscar, the rest were AT welter.

    I personally do give Floyd credit for each of those victories as DLH was bigger, Hatton was unbeaten, Judah is always dangerous & he more or less shut Baldomir out & no matter what you think of him, you dont get more clear cut than that.

    The answer to the thread is because he never was in a good fight and people don't have what to remember him by just that he ducked Margo and fought a boring chessmatch with Oscar build the fight of the century

    Considering Mayweather's ring weight was south of 150 for most of his fights at welter, I suspect he'd still be able to make 135 if he really strained, and it was obvious that he could have still made 140 without a problem.
