To me he comes across as someone trying to play the showbiz game in the complete wrong fashion. I think he means well but is a bit too thick and gullible to pull off the ( genius ) nasty but lovable pantomine villain act.
It's a shame really because i rate him extremely highly and think he'll be under-rated by the sport when he retires due to his public image and percieved lack of quality opponents ( i reckon this is bull****, you dont win titles at so many weights by ducking opponents )
I do think there is a element of racism where he's concerned. I might be wrong but if he came from my country he would be a god. America doesnt seem to like mouthy black genius athletes getting too big for their boots.
