Why does Floyd not get the credit today for beating Manny ?

Floyd surely gets credit from me, but mainly not because of the outcome of the fight itself as people might expected.

It was a close and tight match where no one is dominating the fight. FMJ won simply because he performed better, especially in his defensive work. He did get more points in my scorecard. As all of people know, Pacquiao wasn't at his peak when he fought Mayweather. People wanted that version of Pacquiao to fight Mayweather. Sure, FMJ also aged as well and is actually older than Pac himself. However, he really knows how take care of his body and maintain the quality of his technical level through the years. This is the aspect which Floyd got the most credit from me.

 

Arum held the fight up more then anyone. And some of his excuses were so cringeworthy
