Why does Floyd's style not work in the amateurs?

All of his opponents say he has no power

There is a reason why he does not go for the knockout because he has no power

One example it takes one free shot from a pro boxer to knock out a fighter who is not looking right?

I will never forgetting Mayweather loading up 2 not 1 but 2 hard shots on ortiz who had his hands down and he still was not completely out the guy has pathetic power

Oh really? You guys all hung out and had drinks, you and every single world title bout opponent from 140lbs down that Mayweather ever had? And they were all like "boxing_master, listen, bro, guy has no power, I pinkie-swear!" ...?

Maidana/pac/mosely/oscar,ghost,ext all said Mayweather had no power

Maidana has been nearly hurt in every fight he has fought even a shot morales buckled him badly

The reality is as talented Mayweather might of been he lacked punching power

Oh cool, remind me of the dates he fought any of those guys at or south of 140lbs? Since that is the conversation you drunkenly stumbled into, you stooge?

At 130 Floyd was GOAT, like every ATG who moved up he gradually started picking fights

Show me a successful run up the divisions & I will show you a cherry picker, applies to all ATGs :deal

A featherweight punches like a featherweight. He didn't punch particularly hard above, and at welter he lives up to the definition of a feather fist.

He didn't actually punch hard in the amateurs.

You are a dumbass. It's not 'even' whatsoever. Lomachenko lost ONCE and had far more fights. Mayweather lost 8 times (although one was by walkover).
Lomachenko also proved he is the best in the world not just domestic like Mayweather. Loma was youth world champ and Euro champion.
    It certainly isn't 'even'.

Poor? He medalled in the Olympics as a teenager and got robbed also, he'd have more than likely took the gold.

Exactly, he was in his athletic prime at super feather and lightweight and has punched less hard the further away from there he gets.

Bernard Hopkins is feather-fisted at light heavy compared with his "Executioner" days at middleweight, too, wouldn't you say? Hardly a phenomenon unique to Mayweather.

Because he was an amateur when he was a child in grade school and a kid in high school.

And he was an adult when he was a great pro.

Which top pro athletes were BETTER in grade school?

    :roll::patsch

When Mayweather was Lomachenko's age, he was beating Oscar and knocking out Hatton.

Who has Lomachenko beaten? Gary Russell Jr.?:lol:

If I count the number of losses Mayweather had in his amateur career, I'd fall to sleep.
