It sounds like you are saying GGG isn't as great as some of his fans make him out to be....but is a very good fighter in reality? There were many Golovkin fans they did not expect a knockout win over Alvarez....a lot of them saw the Jacobs fight and knew a really good boxer with movement would most likely make it 12 rounds. It's more of a testament of Golovkin fighting higher level of elite level opponents which of course are more difficult to knockout.

Garcia has a better resume than Crawford as well.

Kell Brook Weighed more than Golovkin when they fought.

Nobody is saying Burns isn't tough, he is but he wouldn't be a champion at 135 or 140 in any other decade that I can think of.

I've already said that Jacobs being stopped by Pirog yet went the distance with Golovkin is fine, fights are different.....Ishida got stopped in 3 of GGG right after he'd gone 12 with Pirog.

Floyd fought a drained Canelo who has gone on to improve since then, Floyd knew what he was doing and got him at the right time. Now I'm not saying Canelo now suddenly beats Floyd but there's a reason he dragged him down to 152 and not allow him to fight at 154.

PBF fought Canelo at 152 because 1 he was the A-side and called the shots and 2 he had already moved up to his 5th weightclass and was the much smaller man. PBF really had no business at 154 anyway. BTW Canelo wasn't drained he was schooled.

    Why is what?

    Neither fighter "arguably beat" Golovkin.

The Jacobs fight was close 116-112/115-123 type of fight for GGG and the Canelo fight was a clear victory for Golovkin.

Answer me this as to why Roberto Duran started his career at 115, yet at 37 could beat Barkley at 160 after Barkley had destroyed Hearns?

    Why?

He was drained he admitted so himself.

Well why would Floyd not fight at 154 yet he accommodated Cotto at 154?

A-side though! He calls the shots! Seriously... You're in your 30s in this is the kind of language that you're limited to. This isn't how a boxing fan should be talking - it's the ramblings of a fanboy. All fights(especially ones of significance and where a title is at stake) should be held on a level playing field - NO BS catchweight or other crap clauses.

GGG is no where as good as some make him out to be. He was supposed to be this KO artist who stops HWs in sparring. He was supposed to make quick work of Jacobs and Canelo and he didn't so he's not as good as advertised. With that said he didn't embarrass himself either so he lies somewhere between.

That's how the game works. The way I said it is irrelevant. Quit grasping at straws what I said is very much true.

    LOL

I don't think so Holmes was a champion on the level of Lemieux and Echols was a glorified journeyman.....

LOL.... Attacking a neutral poster who isn't picking a side - you aren't the sharpest knife. Then again you're the guy who takes stuff Boxed Ears says at face value.
