Seriously, we all know Chirosa is going to be easy competition. Take a look at Wlad's record, the guy likes to keep active and fight about every 6 months. If Wlad wants a fight in July fight with Haye, and Haye wants a July fight, why the **** does Haye care what Wlad does in the mean time. Fighters take easy fights before big fights all time, keeps them in shape and sharp.

I think he's worried Wlad will pull a "Haye" and leave him without a fight for July 2.

Fighters spar before fights anyway. Wlad could probably beat up Chisora and fight Haye two weeks later. If it wasn't for the business side of boxing fighters could regularly fight with two months break between bouts. They could go into camp already in shape and use the time to maintain fitness levels and prepare for a different opponent.

    1. He would be striped of his WBA title
    2. Wlad could get injured or even lose to Chisora. If your going to earn $15million would you risk it
    3. When would they do a press tour in Germany, UK, US in the 9 week break. Thats key training time for both fighters.

Haye was prepared to fight in May or June. April 30th and July 2nd were the only dates K2 could secure a stadium. Haye and Sky said yes to July 2nd then Klitscko said I am fighting Chisora.

Thats simply not true when your dealing with serious athletes like the Klitsckos and Haye. The whole reason he pulled out of the Chisora fight before was because he didnt train.

    1. For a unification?
    2. I very much doubt that. There's a chance Wlad's training camp would be affected, but the fight being called off altogether? Sounds pretty unlikely to me
    3. I'm sure this can be accomodated.

Is it not possible to push the fight back to July or August?

How do you know thats not true? Its not like he is fighting Adamek/Povetkin then Haye two months after. Wlad will make easy work of Chisora. He certainly wont be drawn into a war

He pulled out because of an injury.

Can anyone tell me how Haye himself justify his decision about pulling out on July 2nd?

He doesn't want to risk Wlad getting injured and calling off the fight. Seems pretty weak to me

Haye didn't want Wlad to fight Chisora because the WBA would make him fight Chagaev in the meantime, and Haye can't possibly fight without 7 months rest, even throwing only 18 punches in a fight against Harrison was exhausting. Also, Haye isn't so sure he can beat Chagaev anyway and that means he loses his paper belt to the last real WBA beltholder.......he'll avoid him at all costs.
