Why does HBO do this??????????

My honest opinion is this: No, I don't like it either but I don't blame HBO for it. Because, frankly, if the fighters bring the wife and kids and that happens, it makes sense to cut to it here and there. It is dramatic. I don't want to see it but it's like don't like at the elephant in the room. Of course if the cameramen know where the family is sitting and their relative is getting stomped, they're going to film it too.

Edit: I don't think they should let the kids in though, either. That's a crap thing to do to a kid.

 

Agreed.....They also play the broad cast interview live in the arena.

 

Honestly, I don't enjoy it at all. Makes you wonder why your enjoying some dude pounding another man when his wife is hysterical or his son is crying. Its kinda an invasion of privacy. In a perfect world you could bring your miss to a fight and not have her privacy intruded on. Keep the kids at home though. Thats having them watch that is just stupid.
