Who is he, that anyone would want to fight him? What does he bring to the table?

15 fights in five years. No one has ever heard of him. Ask people on the street, I doubt most Croatians even know who he is.

That you see him in some heavyweight rankings does not speak for him but against the current state of boxing. His best win in five years is Eric Molina.

 

That's not posing for Mr. Olympia. Hrgović doesn't have a "bodybuilder" build, but neither does Eric "Butterbean" Esch. Personally, I would like to be built like Hrgović Part of his image is to look dangerous in front of the audience and the opponent... That's part of the job ̸̸ marketing; that's how magazines and advertisements are sold.

The REAL reasons why Hrgović is not liked by a good portion of boxing lovers are:
1. Victory in battle against Zhāng Zhìlěi; bad edition of Hrgović, and many question the victory
2. "Hrgović is the next world champion" statements irritate a good part of boxing fans

Now the "fight for the title" can also be a fight for the vacant title. There are many examples:

Some heavyweight rankings - he is top ranked in all rankings except WBC, yes current state of boxing is weak - because nobody fights, and everyone ducks eachother - the top G Tyson Fury, who is somebody, everyone knows his name, brings huge money on the table, has 30 fights and all of Britain knows of him - just ducked Usyk like a ***** ass coward, how come you arent spiting on him? He is bigger reason for that state of boxing.
