Why does it always seem that Pacquiao and Mayweather fans never like the same fighter

Question for floyd fans what do you guys like more: the style and skills of a boxer or the swag the guy has?

 

The only one that I like on that list is Ward. I'm really not a fan of the others. I knew Ward had the potential to be a great fighter in the first round of the Kessler fight.

I think it's more the slick style that they don't enjoy, not race. The same people you mentioned were all fans of RJJ, Tyson, Hearns, Hagler, Leonard (assuming they are old enough).

I'm Filipino and I like Paul Williams and James Kirkland, but do enjoy some slick boxers as well, as long as I have enough caffiene inside me. :yep

I like boxers, swarmers, and BOXER-punchers.

 

Nonitoe will become rich within a few years if he can survive and make it big. He can recruit Floyd and emmanuel fans.

I get that for guys like mayorga or margarito who are absically tough fighters rather than boxers but you have to like a guy like tyson allthough he was actually skilled and not some mindless brawler imo.
Or the way hagler fought vs hearns, epic fighst happen because of it.
But you prefer a style like hopkins or ward for example over a prime roy jones for example?

 

I think I'm one of the few Floyd fans that like Bernard over Roy.

 

i like nonito. pacs a fruitcake. philipinos need to put as much energy as they do with pac and support donaire like that. in about 2 years from now hell probly be at featherweight then Mr. Gary Russell Jr. will TKO him :yep

no peds
none of that one dimesional ****.

we like boxers, that cant fight on the inside and out.
not those straight up and down fighters with no special effects.
i like that slick **** with pin point placed shots. alot of head movment i mean not that bobble head ****. i like smart boxers that can bang the most.

I'm a Pacquiao AND Cotto fan.


They are both skilled fighters...


What's not to like?

 

Mayweather fans generally do not like Cotto.


But there is a pattern. Most of it is a subconscious agenda to maximize one fighter's accomplishments while discrediting the other's.

 

floyd fan here who can't stand ward or cotto but i am a fan of margo....i like quick dynamic fighters like gamboa/russell/broner best though

*******s have 3 types of fighters they like and only know about these guys cause of their association with pac, roach or the phillipines:

1. former pac opponents who they overhype to make pac look better
2. roach trained fighters
3. other filipino fighters
