Some states have rules where they "suspend" you for 3 days for every round fought. So if you fought a 6 rounder, you would have to wait 18 days to fight again. TKO loss is a 30 day suspension, KO loss is 60 or more. Suspensions due to cuts or other injuries are at the discretion of the ringside physician, and typically could be 30, 45, or 60 days. I try to fight my younger guys every 45-60 days. With bigger name fighters, it just cant be done. There aren't enough tv dates available. Sometimes you can do it, like I did when I put Nate in with Alcorro on ESPN last July just to stay busy, but it is difficult to cover the expenses of matching a world class fighter on an ESPN budget.........
