Broken Hand after Margo - > Healed in a few weeks

A torn bicep after Judah - > Healed in a few days

This can only mean one thing...

Joshua Clottey is a Marvel Comic Book Super Hero

Well... if he gets injuries in every fight it means he's not recovered from those injuries at all... It's good that he gets back in the gym in a few days but it can do more bad than good for the coming years...

My thought exactly. Against Margarito, as soon as things stopped going his way, Clottey made a big show to his trainer and anyone else watching that his hands were hurting. I'm sure they did, but obviously they weren't broken. And there is a big difference between a bicep strain and a tear. A tear requires surgery, and a strain just needs a little ice and rest.

Regarding the tear and the strain. The tear was reported the day after the fight, before an MRI was done. Anyone who watches sports knows that strains get reported as tears all the time, it's not a big deal.

In regards to the problems with his fingers, there was definately something wrong. The guy was winning and basically stopped punching. I seriously doubt he would say he was injured if he wasn't. As far as the severity of the injury, who knows. Clottey seems more than willing to fight Margo again, and Margo said he wants his IBF belt back. Make the fight happen.

This thread turned out to be more serious then I intended it. Anyway I think that you may have touched on something in another thread Ambition_Def, talking about a low resistance to pain.

Or Maybe Clottey painfully drains to make the 147Lbs limit..
And his body pay's the price after & during the fight?

yeah, im now thinking its all just lies. he's just got no stamina on account of being hugely muscular for his frame and then when he gasses it he blames a phantom injury

Seriously. Dunno if you guys know already, but I still can't get over the fact that for the Clottey-Corrales fight Clottey came it at a whopping 170 lbs on the day of the fight.

Yea I hear ya. Something was clearly wrong, a lot of people on these forums though seem to think Clottey was faking it or something, just because the injury didn't turn out as bad as first thought.

Exactly...he was giving it to Marg and then stopped punching and there are idiot on here who say he was crying because it wasnt going him way.

On another post on here some dumb ass said he has a low resistance to pain... Cotto squatted like a ***** under the same barrage Clottey wallked through for 12 rounds...
