Why does Joshua Clottey recover so quickly from injuries?

Buddy, things only stopped going his way when he stopped throwing punches in the 5th and for the rest of the fight. He was dominating, Margo did nothing that stopped Clottey.

Clottey is another tough draw for Margarito.

The reason everyone thinks Margo is some type of Superman now, is because he beat an overmatched Cotto, who beat ZAB (who cares?) and who escaped against Shane.

Plain and simple Clottey was pretty unaffected by the 1600 punches Margo threw. 1600 punches!!! And Clottey walked right through that ****! Clottey can beat Margo, but it definitely won't be easy!

The hand injury against Margarito was BS, Clottey himself said that in a interview just before he fought Diego Corrales that his hand did not break the knuckle was bruised, this is on the showtime telecast of Corrales vs Clottey.

Who cares if he won a few early rounds? The fight is 12 rounds last time i checked. Zab Judah also has won a lot of early rounds against a lot of boxers.

It means nothing. Clottey felt the heat and he wanted to get out of the kitchen. Margarito actually was the one that was injured but no complains from him.Clottey did not brake his hand. Clottey just got his ass whopped for the 1st time in his life and he put on an excuse is all that happened.

Your talking very convincingly like someone who didn't watch the fight, but read about it later. Clottey punished and dominated Margarito through round 4. In round 5 he threw approx 12 punches. 12 PUNCHES. He stopped throwing consistently for the rest of the fight, and took all that Margo had to throw with a smiling face unlike Cotto. In round 6 Jim Grey reported that Clottey had complained about a hurt hand in his corncer. And in r11 when the doctor squeezed his hand when Clottey wasn't looking it caused him to grimace badly. If your going to criticize do it with facts dude, otherwise you end up looking like an ignorant *******.

Anyone notice how Clottey wasn't whining to his trainers and wanting to QUIT in the 5th round this time around despite hurting his left bicep? I wonder why........ hmmmm could it be because Judah was no threat and couldn't apply effective pressure to save his life?

If everything is going well he won't gas as badly but his stamina is still **** probably from squeezing himself down to 147. On top of that the guy has no heart and is a constant whiner and dirty fighter to boot. He won't be holding that paper title for very long.

Oh yeah, and for the all the BS about breaking his hands against Margo it was all a bunch of lies to make himself look better after Margo schooled him.

Margo didnt exaclty school Josh bro.......actually Margo didnt school him at all. He just wore him down and it did seem to happend realitively fast after the 5th or 6th round when Josh said he hurt his hand. Up till that point Josh was actually the one schooling Marg, but with that said Marg was never really a fast started and always finished strong.

    Bull****.

Margarito won 1 of the first for rounds and might have won 2, but it's doutfull that you watched the fight if you say that Clottey punished Margarito when Margarito was still the aggressor and pushing the fight, but Clottey was indeed beating him to the punch on the inside with hook and uppercut combinations.

Margarito started put in a hell of a lot of bodywork in the 5th round, and fought Clottey at mid-range where his hooks were less effective because Clottey is not great at fighting at range, and prefers to land his hooks on the inside where it's most effective.

Clottey came out boxing in Round 6 because it was obvious that Margarito's volume of punches took it's toll on Clottey and he was still feeling winded from the effect on his body, but because Clottey is not a natural boxer, he went back to his normal stance.

It was Clottey's left hand that was injured, yet he didn't break any bones, and he there was a look on his face that he wanted out and when Margarito closed the distance, Clottey was reluctant to let his right hand go, so........yeah, your argument makes a lot of sense, especially considering in the 7th and 8th rounds, Clottey was firing off rapid triple hook combinations with plenty on them.

Not to mention that Clottey blatantly low-blowed Margarito, and looked to be gassed, and then faked another low blow, also looking to be gassed.

Apparently, since you don't know much about styles nor physical attributes, nor Clottey's previous fights, he is a muscle bound fighter who's great on the inside, not too effective on the outside, and gasses out as the fight goes on which is normally attributed to muscle bound fighters.

But my bad, I guess when he fought Margo where he came in heavy as hell, he wasn't going to get tired, and he was a dominant outside puncher though he's never shown any signs of it before.

Just go ahead and slap yourself, and maybe you should watch the fight again.

    :patsch

Just stop. I watched the fight live went it aired and many their after. I saw what i saw and you won't convince other wise.

Clottey did not brake his hand he admitted that himself. You understand? He said that himself get that thru your thick skull. He bitched is all. He was never beaten or involved in a serious fight before the Margarito fight. Winning a few early rounds don't mean a god damn thing.

12 Rounds of boxing is what it is. Not 3 not 4 not 6 not 7 not 9 not 11, but 12 ROUNDS! Clottey folded under the pressure. You get that? Is that clear for you? Or is it too hard for you to comprehend that?

Don't waste my time sending PM's like a *** next time.

You're attacking arguments that I never made. Clottey was certainly hurt in that fight. Only Clottey truly knows how much the injuries affected him. Bottom line, Clottey says he wants a rematch. Margo says he wants his IBF belt back. They both are promoted by Top Rank. Why not make the rematch?

I like the fight, but I really want to see Margarito fight Floyd right now.

Clottey is a tough fighter and he's going to put wear and tear on Margarito and make him less of a fighter than he was before.

I guess this is too much to ask for though.
