They need a stadium where the roof can be closed outside the summer months.

    Cardiff has that

In some ways it has better infrastructure for sporting events than London does.

Yeah, I’m not so sure about that... it was brutal after the Takam fight trying to get in bars for a drink and then to get back to the hotel... took hours to get a taxi

Yeah here not really many bars in Cardiff for a city it's size at least in comparison to London and where I live Brighton. It's good that many of them are near the stadium but it does mean it's frickin crammed there.

I might try and reserve a table at a decent bar near the stadium before hand. I did that for the last sporting event I went to in London, so while every one was looking for a seat in the pub I just strolled in asked the barman and went to my table, lol.

I'll probably book an AirBnB close to the stadium, there are plenty available for a price cheaper than any hotel close by. That way we can walk back to our accommodation.

Not a bad idea at all to be fair, I have had a hotel booked in Cardiff for a while through booking.com. I booked it as soon as the 31st was being quoted as the most likely date, it can be cancelled anytime.

I haven’t decided if I’ll go this time yet. I went to the Takam fight and even though we had floor seats we were in the middle and the view wasn’t that great.

The atmosphere for the main fight was good but the undercard fights most that were weren’t watching and just there for the main event so.

And the nightmare of getting food or drinks after I think I would rather get a good seat in a bar with some big screens this time to be fair.

Maybe if they do a Wembley fight later in the year

Wales is actually a beautiful place and Cardiff is a terrific city, especially for an international or European rugby match, when it's absolutely brilliant. The Welsh people are extraordinarily nice and are very friendly. I've been there 4 or 5 times and have always enjoyed it.
