Why does Khan always try to pay his opponent peanuts?

its either that p.aki's are greedy which is a stereotype but there seems to be truth in it in khans situation or his opponents always think they deserve a lot of money. I think its the first thing though, his problems with ariza, always the problems during negotations it seems to be true.
Thats the only thing that sucks from khan he (allthough I think his dad and family is more involved then he in this) is way too money driven at a early age, he needs to establish some legacy first, money will follow.

 

Don't be silly. He's a big name and quite rightly wants the larger share of the purse. Especially against McCloskey. If I were Khan I wouldn't fight McCloskey for less than 70/30.

You would act no differently. You go for what you can get.

Instead of immediately believing his opponents when they say "The offer was too low", why not actually take the time and look at what was being given?

Take Peterson for example. After earning a poxy 20 or so grand against Ortiz, he rejects a $300,000 offer from Khan, wanting $400,000 instead . Then we have Judah - a man who hasn't done **** all for 5 years - thinking he deserves a 50-50 split against someone he doesn't even warrant a shot at atsch. Not to mention Bradley, who had even been offered half of the UK money, and a total offer which even his promoter, Gary Shaw, was baffled at for Bradley rejecting.

But it's ok, you go carrying on thinking Khan only pays his opponents peanuts. :verysad

Khan is making people rich, i suspect his family are arseholes to do business with but it is him attracting the money. If i was him i wouldn't mug myself off by offering a 50/50 split to everyone and their mates, he is a champ, knock the ****er out if you want to get rich. I do extend sympathy to McCloskey though, that was a shambles.

 

He offered Bradley 50/50 - what more could he have done to make that fight? At this point in Zab's career, 60/40 is probably fair - it's certainly not peanuts. How much did McCloskey deserve?
